We made an advance reservation for 8 people, and we sat at a long table inside the restaurant. It was busy with many people. Even though air conditioning was on, it was still quite hot inside (very common in summer in this area). The waiter came in about 20-30min to take our drinks order, and quite soon, it was served. I ordered Picata Española meat dish that was served in reasonable time and was very delicious, however half way through, I noticed that water from the air conditioning was dripping in my plate, so of course I wouldn't be able to continue eating my food. I called our waiter and told him I had a problem - I showed him the water in my unfinished plate and showed the ceiling where it's coming from. My first shock was that he didn't even apologise or say anything, he just took my plate and went away. I gave him a benefit of doubt hoping that he will come back with some solution for me, but nothing happened. He didn't appear until everyone finished the food and bill arrived for €170 which included full charge of my food. WOW I thought. I'm not coming back here as customer service is non-existent! I shouldn't have been charged in full for the dish I couldn't eat because it was ruined from their air...
Read moreWe spent an amazing evening here:
First we had the Sole (Lenguado). It was served with the most amazing creamy potatoes and the presentation alone was extremely impressive. Personally fish is not my first choice but this really was unforgettable.
We then had the Iberic secret. The presentation was photo perfect and the meat was of the highest quality and topped off with mouth watering chips and European style green peppers. The salt amplified the taste which Torrevieja is known for.
The Macarron du chef was a wonderful delicious and perfectly balanced pasta dish which included creamy tomato sauce and delicious mushrooms.
Finally we finished with an amazing brownie and ice cream mix topped off with powdered sugar. I would have eaten two if I was not so full.
All of this was washed down with jugs of Sangria which helped top off an amazing evening. I highly recommend this...

How dare he put a few pieces of baguette under the meat? For what reason , again I have no idea . I’ve never eaten a flip-flop, but I imagine it would taste the same.
TO CORRECT YOUR REPLY: I had ordered the filet mignon. While I understand that misunderstandings can happen due to language barriers — and that’s perfectly acceptable — the main issue was the quality of the ingredients. The tenderloin itself was of very poor quality, and the foie gras was questionable; I honestly couldn’t tell how long that poor piece had been kept — it looked old and poorly handled.
I don’t expect perfection, but serving meat that tastes this old is...
