Burger King — Restaurant in Valencia

I had one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had at this Burger King. When I ordered my meal at the touchscreen, I selected the option to receive my ice cream cone after eating. When I returned to the counter and asked for it, the employee told me I hadn’t paid. I showed my receipt, but instead of apologizing, he brought over another worker who doubled down and told me I had already received it.

I was shocked. I told them I never received the cone and showed them proof of payment, but they insisted I was lying. Over a one-euro ice cream cone. I was so frustrated I just said, ‘Keep your cone’ and walked out.

Absolutely unacceptable way to treat a paying customer. I won’t be returning.

Went to try and show support for the new vegan options. The vegeterian butcher is a great brand so we had high expectations. Boy were we let down. The chicken sandwich is just the patty with a few lettuce cuts. They originally served it with mayo, beating the purpose of a vegan meal, luckily the staff was great and replaced it without any problems. The whopper wasn't as bad since it actually had other elements that added flavor but it wasn't exactly good. All in all, we love that places like these are showing up with vegan options, but this experience leaves us with the notion that there was little to no planning on anything else other than...

Cuando llegamos el local apenas tenía clientes. Pedimos en caja luego de mostrar nuestros certificados Covid. La chica nos atendió muy bien. No recuerdo el nombre pero sí que por el uniforme era la encargada de ese turno.

Comimos a gusto. El local estaba limpio, y ya se lo que están pensando: normal que lo estuviese si estaba vacío. Pero vayan uds a comer al Popeyes junto al Ikea en Alfafar y ya me cuentan. Éramos los primeros clientes al abrir el local y aquello estaba como si hubiesen hecho una Rave por la noche allí...

Volviendo al BK. Tras comer pedí los Helados que se me habían olvidado y la encargada no tuvo problema en añadirlos a la cuenta con la promoción con descuento por menú aunque no estuviesen en el mismo ticket y tecnicamente se tratase de un pedido nuevo.

Pocas veces he comido tan a gusto en un sitio de comida rápida donde además me hallan atendido así de bien. Normalmente recibo una atención digamos, automatizada y poco cercana de parte del personal. No sé puede decir que mala, porque no lo es, pero si que le falta ese punto de calidez humana que te hace sentir bien tratado, y que en aquella ocasión recibí de parte de la encargada.

No puedo poner las manos al fuego y decir que esto siempre sea así en este local. Pero por primera vez al terminar de comer me acerqué al mostrador a agradecerle a la encargada por el buen trato y desearle un buen final de jornada. Yo trabajé 5 años en comida rápida y que un cliente valore tu trabajo es algo que, por desgracia no se ve todos los días. Más bien casi nunca. Y su sonrisa entre sorprendida y extrañada me lo confirmó...
