I don't usually write negative Google reviews, but I had a pretty terrible experience here and this restaurant deserves it.
I've been here several times in the past. It used to be good. And it was on this basis that I took my friend who was visiting Valencia, for a quick final meal before she went to the airport.
I ordered a chicken wrap and she ordered a chicken breast. My chicken wrap came out in error as a chicken burger at first. I assumed they would then "repurpose" the burger to a wrap. What I didn't expect was that the meat would be processed, cheap burger patty meat. This was absolutely nothing like what I had eaten here before. It was atrocious. I was starving and in a rush, so ate as much as I could - but I've had far better kebabs at half the price.
My friend who ordered chicken breast realised halfway through that the chicken was very raw on the inside. She stopped eating as soon as she noticed, but was obviously very concerned by how much she had already eaten.
We asked for the bill straight away and raised these issues. The waiter had nothing to say other than "ok". I paid and left. I didn't have the time or energy to get into a dispute at this point, as it was clear that they didn't care. But I will never again recommend this place to anyone, or take someone there to eat.
The restaurant's reply to the previous 1-star review is interesting in its arrogant tone and indicative of how this place views customer service. I expect a similarly obnoxious reply, despite the fact that we were not difficult or impolite customers.
This used to be a good place, but the quality of the food and service has sharply deteriorated. I now strongly advise against it. Any business that disrespects their customers like this doesn't deserve them.
EDIT 1:
I'm not sure why the restaurant replied to this review by simply repeating my name with a suggestive "..." . Are they trying to imply that I am not real? Or to intimidate or threaten in some way? Hard to say when the commentary is deliberately vague.
It's my real name, I am Irish-Spanish. I don't mind putting my name behind my comments, which is more than can be said for the owner of this restaurant.
EDIT 2:
The restaurant has now written a new reply, which really speaks for itself. It is of course a ridiculous, childish outburst claiming that I was rude in the way I "left the money on the table" without saying goodbye. In reality, I paid with card and this (provably) never happened.
The raw chicken was pointed out straight away, not towards the end of the meal. We raised the issue and asked for the bill because it was gross and we knew this could not be remedied quickly. My friend had a plane to catch.
There are plenty of other falsehoods with this person's reply, but I think anyone with eyes can see them. I really don't understand the restaurant mocking me for updating the review, when they have done the exact same (to a far more dramatic degree) with their reply.
If you have a similarly negative experience at this establishment, don't let the owner's retaliatory behaviour put you off sharing your experience. People like this don't deserve...
Read moreI do not know if what I experienced here was a joke or something. I ordered a pulled chicken burger from the "Burger Premium" section of the restaurant's menu. The burger came way smaller than I was expecting from a burger called premium, but let's say that part is okay, maybe that's the portions in the restaurant in general. The chicken inside the burger was nothing to do with pulled chicken, they were some pieces of chicken (like those pieces seen in the photo I shared here), and the amount was so little, not more than 50 grams of chicken that was inside. The funny part was there was a huge amount of juice that spilled out from the burger to the plate, and it kept dripping continuously. I called the waiter and asked if that is normal, and he said yes it's because of the coleslaw in it. I tried to explain that the coleslaw's juice could be drained before taking its place in the burger, a burger can't be eaten in this way, but the waiter was keep interrupting me and was repeating that the ingredients were written in the menu, and he was speaking in an impolite way.
After finishing eating the burger I went inside to make my complaint to the personnel on the cashier desk while making the payment. Then the same waiter came in to argue with me, I wanted to keep talking to cashier, and the waiter asked why I am talking to the young guy??? He also said if I am not happy with the burger then I should order one more :) Can't believe how reckless that approach is.
Edit after restaurant's comment I just saw restaurant's comment. Oh my god, look at the language, and the salutation, what a professionalism :D
Okay I remember the table change now, but that was just a simple thing, a waiter asked me to and I did straight away :) Such things can happen, they are just normal. But was it the reason I received the burger in that form? Like with almost no chicken in it and full of juice?
When things do not go in the way they like this restaurant personnel show reaction and looks they even serve the food to you in an incorrect form once they decide to. They do not have a culture of listening to polite complaints, they do not listen to you at all actually, they are impulsive and they even...
Read moreCame here because I was craving buffalo chicken wings after moving to Valencia a few months ago. Gravely disappointed. They tasted like regular chicken wings, no flavor at all. After eating the first one, I asked them to please put more sauce because it was so disappointing. They kindly did and it was better, but did not taste like buffalo wings at all. I saw both another review and the menu saying it was spicy, and it was not even close to it. They didn't even have blue cheese sauce either, so I had to get a gorgonzola sauce for 1.50€ extra, which didn't taste bad at all, but it was not what I hoped for. I liked that they gave peach-flavored heart gummies at the end, though! I was still hungry so I wanted to try something else, but didn't want to spend too much and then get disappointed again.
Final...
