La Taberna de Ruzafa — Restaurant in Valencia

The worst night ever. The food was ok. But the night turned into a nightmare. The waiter from the beginning was rude and arrogant. We paid our bill of 224 euro between 12 of us. We had also paid for an extra bottle of wine that we did not receive. When he was asked about the wine he became extremely angry , he went to the till and threw 20 euro at me. He became very aggressive, he then barged past me and suddenly produced another bill for an extra 101 Euro saying we owed him this amount . We had all the receipts and bank statements to prove we did not owe him an extra 101 euro. He then involved the police who were very nice and could see we had paid. It was totally unnecessary and over-the top behaviour. He was verbally abusive. Calling us horrible names. The most disgusting behaviour of restaurant staff I've have ever...

The food was good! I would rate it 4.5 stars. We had patatas bravas, croquetas, and Lágrimas de pollo.

Unfortunately, the service was extremely disappointing, and I would give our waiter 0 stars. He was very disinterested; it felt as if I could have picked up the food from the kitchen myself with no difference. Our glasses were dirty, and our drinks remained empty for 30 minutes. He simply left the food on the table without any pleasantries—no "enjoy your meal," no inquiry if we needed anything else. It's unfortunate that a restaurant with such good food does not...

Place is one of our favorite on the area. Food is decent and surprisingly good! Also very cheap ;-)

We were here during Saturday night, could get really busy after 9 pm because of the locals.

Service could get very slow but you will see they are trying their best.

I'm quite surprised with very low score because the place is really excellent. Also take note, this place is the of the only place in rusafa that is actually quite and romantic. Other areas are very busy with...
