Most miserable experience ever. Please take my advice and DO NOT book and pre-pay here. I pre-paid for a sunbed on the beach. However, on the day it was thunderstorming and raining. I asked them via phone and email whether I could change to any other day this week (it was off-season, end of September), but their rules say you cannot. They also claimed all other guests were here and they were providing service as usual. Since I have never been there I thought they probably have some sort of solution for rain - but they do not.
When I arrived, the beach section WASN'T EVEN OPEN. So what I had paid for, was not available - opposite to what they had said on the phone and via email when they declined my request to change the reservation.
Also, the POOL COULD NOT BE USED due to the rain, and all the sunbeds next to the pool were wet. I spoke to several people if they could PLEASE please please let me come back another day since there was no dry sunbed for me to sit on, but they forced me to sit on the wet sunbed which you can see in the pictures. đ„ș It was literally pouring down on me, but they didn't care. It was such a miserable and sad experience. đ
I'm aware that that they have a 14-days cancellation policy and don't guarantee sunshine - I just didn't think they'd force customers to lie on a RAINED UPON BED DURING A THUNDERSTORM. If it was high season, I'd get they couldn't change my reservation to another day. But it wasn't high season. For them, once you paid, you've given them all they care about and they will not bother with you anymore.
Even from a business perspective this makes no sense - as I would've come back to spend money there on food and drinks on another day. This way, one more sunbed will stay empty, I won't ever come back and will recommend to everyone to not go there.
Aside from that - the guests next to me, who were just about to leave when I arrived, told me that the sangria was awful, the food didn't taste good either and the pool and all amenities were in really worn-down condition since COVID. They told me this used to be a nice place but it was ruined over the last years and recommended me to leave since they were so disappointed. I can see why.
Please don't go there and just go to any other cute little beach bar along all the beaches in Valencia where you can get sunbeds for 7 euros and have much friendlier service and...

If youâre thinking of going to Marina Beach Club Valencia for a special eveningâreconsider. I came here for my birthday dinner (4th Aug-25 10pm), expecting a memorable night with good food and a great setting. The setting was the only thing that didnât disappoint.
We had a confirmed reservation, and yet once we were seated, we were ignored for over 20 minutes. Not even a basic offer of water, no menus, no greetingânothing. Just left sitting there like we didnât exist.
All four of us at the table were literally waving our hands in the air out of frustration, trying to get someoneâanyoneâsâattention. Staff saw us. They made eye contact. And then they purposely ignored us. Iâve never experienced such blatant disregard for guests in any restaurant, let alone one that brands itself as high-end.
Eventually, after we flagged someone down, we were able to order drinks and starters. We ordered champagne but the restaurant had no champagne glasses for consumption. No one mentioned any time constraint, no one asked if weâd like to place the rest of our order. And then, after finishing the starters and trying to order our main course, the waiter just said:
âOh⊠we forgot to tell youâthe kitchen is closed.â
They forgot to tell us. We had a reservation. They knew we were here for dinner. We were clearly still ordering. And yet their response was a shrug and zero accountability. No effort to offer anything else, no solution, no genuine apology. Just âtoo bad.â
So we were left hungry, disrespected, and completely let down on what should have been a joyful evening. On my birthday.
The place is clearly understaffed and worseâthey just donât care. Thereâs no excuse for treating paying customers like this, especially when youâre positioning yourself as a premium beachside venue. Itâs all show, no substance.
Unless management takes serious steps to train staff, communicate properly, and show some basic human decency, this place is not worth your time, your money, or your trustâespecially not for a special occasion.
A place that ruins birthdays should not call itself a âbeach club.â Itâs more like a mirage: looks good from a distance, but up close?...
Read moreWe visited Marina Beach Club Valencia expecting a premium beach club experience, but unfortunately, it turned out to be the opposite. Unfair and noisy seating arrangement: Unless youâre lucky enough to get one of the very limited âfirst-lineâ sunbeds by the pool, youâre placed at the back, right next to loud industrial fans. You donât get to choose your spot â staff assigns you wherever is left. So unless youâre among the first to arrive, youâll most likely be stuck listening to fan noise all day. For a place that charges premium prices, a âfirst come, first servedâ system without any transparency or choice feels unacceptable. Zero view from most sunbeds: Only about 10% of the beds (the front row again) have any view of the pool. From the rest of the club, you canât see the pool or even the sea â just the backs of the people sitting in front of you. Iâve been to many beach clubs before, but this is the first time Iâve had absolutely no view of the pool from my seat. It didnât feel like a beach club at all, more like a sunbed rental business next to a hidden pool. Terrible service: Despite being told that burgers would take 5â7 minutes, we waited over an hour, repeatedly asked staff about our order, and ultimately had to cancel because the club was about to close. When we politely asked to cancel, the staff responded with rude gestures and attitude. For the prices they charge, this kind of disrespectful behavior is shocking. No space to move, let alone dance: Unlike other beach clubs that usually have at least a small space to dance or chill, this place crams sunbeds into every possible corner â thereâs barely room to walk. Despite being called a âbeach club,â it felt more like a sunbed warehouse. There was no vibe, no energy, and certainly no space for any kind of social atmosphere.
In total, we paid 140 euros for two people for just 3â4 hours of discomfort, poor service, and zero ambiance. This place is all hype and no substance â an overpriced and overmarketed disappointment. I hope better-quality places open up in Valencia soon, because this one is definitely...
