The outing to Panorama restaurant at the Marina Beach Club was a mixed experience. Our recent visit marked a significant contrast to our pre-pandemic dining experience in December 2019, which we had thoroughly enjoyed. This time, however, our expectations were met with varying degrees of disappointment. While our previous visit had afforded us a prime table on the expansive outdoor terrace with impeccable service, this time the restaurant was bustling, leaving us with no option but to settle for indoor seating near the panoramic windows, still offering glimpses of the stunning beach views and good AC while providing much-needed relief from the heat. Upon perusing the cocktail menu, I was disheartened by the absence of my favored Porn Star cocktail and settled for the passion fruit mojito, which regrettably fell short in terms of flavor. Feedback from my fellow diners on their chosen mojitos and agua de Valencia echoed my sentiments of lackluster mixology. The ceviche failed to impress, receiving a lukewarm rating of 4 out of 5 stars – while the fish was fresh, the dish lacked innovation in terms of flavor profile and presentation. On a positive note, the salmon sushi roll we shared proved to be a highlight, boasting flavor and aesthetic appeal. Moving on to the main courses, the Lubina ordered by me and another companion left much to be desired, with the accompanying garlic and cauliflower mash failing to elevate the dish beyond mediocrity, earning a lackluster 3 out of 5 stars. Conversely, the Grilled Ahi tuna with grilled eggplant fared better, garnering a rating of 4 out of 5 stars. A guest's solo indulgence in another salmon sushi roll was met with satisfaction, underscoring the success of the sushi offerings. Noteworthy was the enthusiasm of our young guest for the grilled beef sirloin, a dish relished with gusto. Service, while adequate, fell short of the standards expected in a premium dining establishment. The evident strain on the staff due to the bustling venue resulted in sporadic delays and the need to actively seek assistance from our waiter, Alberto. Considering the substantial investment of 400E for a party of five, inclusive of a 50E tip, the overall dining experience failed to deliver a consistent level of excellence. While the enchanting view earned a definitive five-star rating, the culinary and service aspects left room for improvement, with the ambiance and scenery overshadowing the culinary offerings on this occasion.

The moment I stepped in, I was charmed by the lovely decor and the breathtaking views of the beach and pool. It had all the makings of a perfect hangout spot with friends or family. However, I must admit that the service was a bit disappointing. It felt like the staff was preoccupied with other things, and it took longer than expected to get their attention. They were polite enough, but there was a lack of genuine warmth that one would expect in such a setting. Now, let's talk about the food. I had my hopes up, expecting some tantalizing coastal dishes, but unfortunately, it didn't quite meet expectations. The food was just average, nothing to write home about. It lacked that extra touch to make it truly memorable. To make matters worse, the smoking policy was rather inconvenient. We were not allowed to smoke at the table, which is understandable, but the designated smoking area near the bathroom was hardly an inviting spot. When we decided to go there, we were met with suspicion as if we were trying to evade paying our bill, which left a bitter taste in our mouths. In conclusion, while the beach club had its share of positives like the stunning decor and views, the mediocre service and underwhelming food left me feeling a bit let down. The smoking situation only added to the less-than-stellar experience. Perhaps with some improvements in service and menu, this place could truly live up to its potential as a beachside paradise.

We booked a table for dinner because we saw that the place was beautiful. Unfortunately, that’s about the extent of positive qualities about this restaurant. First, we were not attended for the first 20 minutes at all. I feel like the waiter had way too many tables to attend and he just didn’t manage. The music from the pool area was so loud it felt like dining in a nightclub. Then the drinks came and the glasses were unpolished and very dirty looking. When I asked for clean glasses they came back with new glasses that looked the same. They also charged us 3€ for what I thought was tap water because it came in a refillable glass bottle. The waiter managed to pour some of the water on our table as well but he didn’t seem to be bothered by that. We ordered croquettes as starters and they weren’t very good, but the worst thing was that the bread was hard like a rock. I did ask for new bread and they brought a more soft one. For the main meal we had the Valencian paella which was just rice, green beans and very very very dry chicken. We ate some of the rice which actually tasted quite ok but ended up leaving the chicken because it was inedible. They ended up not charging us for the croquettes but it didn’t make a big difference for the overall experience. I’m sad that we spent our last night in Valencia in such a horrible restaurant.

Yesterday we ate here with a large of friendsk. What a beautiful location like this on the beach! Music and general set-up of the place also very nice. We asked for a variety of starters, which had amongst them calamari and croquetas. A nice bite but nothing too special flavour-wise. As a main I ordered NY steak, my favourite! Unfortunately the steak was not seasoned and tough at most bites. Salt was served on the side, though, as well as fries and some green peppers. Overall: not a good impression. Now about the waiting staff. They were very friendly! Very willing and helpfull, although we did have enough bread at some point (wink). Later on the madam wrongly opened our bottle of cava, making it sprout all over. Stuff like that happens, but she poured the cava into our glasses from the very same bottle! That is not okay. We pay for the whole bottle, right? Later on we had a bunch of espresso martinis, which were more ‘light’ then traditional, having blocks of ice in and seemingly less alcohol, which I liked in these warm circumstances. As far as the lunch goes: What can I say? The location at the beach is both convenient and beautiful. The food though? Not very special, especially for a place that has a luxurious aura like this. We did have a nice time though at the lovely terrace. Later on at night we went out clubbing aft Marina beach club. What a nice atmosphere! Beautiful set up with the stage, DJ and lighting. Both young and perhaps older people were ready to go! Easy access to multiple bars as well as toilets. As I came from the beach that day, I was wearing swimming trunks and carrying a small bag. Luckily for me, I was allowed to change into my trousers at the restaurant and be ready to go! But my bag though, unfortunately, I was not allowed to stow it away anywhere, not even after asking multiple times, with multiple people. Actually, the staff was very unfriendly on this. I think I asked friendly to help me on this matter but I was never friendly received. Actually, the waiting staff and security were very unfriendly. Now I had to carry my bag with me all evening. After dancing a little bit more carrying my bag with me I tried one last time and asked to get my bag stowed away somewhere. What happened? I was thrown out by the security. What the …? I was absolutely blown away by this, in a negative way. Now, what should I say about the place? It’s at a nice location and it has a nice vibe. The service I had been getting all day though? Mostly negative, especially at night. And again I say, blown away in a negative way. Having perhaps the best location in Valencia for a restaurant, that is the only thing making it nice in the end. For the rest it kind of s*cks. Better...

I have tried to call the restaurant using a phone number provided at 14:43 to make a reservation at 19:00 for 4 people on Monday, 26th of December 2022. Hopefully I was able to make a reservation via online booking system on their website.

Me and my family did arrive at 18:50 and were given a table for 4 people. We were accompanied by a lady at the entrance of the restaurant (which has more than 5 phones at her hand) to kindly bring us a chair for 1.5 yo baby. Before finishing going with us to a table, she immediately started to talk to someone on the phone. No explanation, no waitress - nothing. Just sit down and look for the menu.

My first attempt to call waitress ended up as failure, however, I have to admit she was the most active person to care about the dinner. And I mean the very first waitress and not all the other ones who were rushing to our table later on… We did get a baby chair only after the waitress had asked on herself despite earlier attempts when we had asked other personal. Unfortunately.

3 adults and 2 young children and we get only salad (which was the only dish for me as only vegan person) and fried squids for the first 1 hour of being at the restaurant. When I have started complaining about the service, as why the f**k we have to wait so long for our birthday dinner dishes - 3 different waiters came and explained the reason for delay absolutely differently. It was 20:05, and most people still didn’t get any food except from bread. I do appreciate talking, but acting is always better...

By 20:25 all the dishes appeared on the table. I have to admit that most people did like the food and presentation was quite nice. I wasn’t taking photos for the first time as the experience of waiting kept annoying me for the whole evening.

The most mind blowing part was that lady with 5+ phones in her hand, who kept talking on her phone when we went out of the restaurant area. So yeah, I was pretty sure I have received a call from her at 21:04 regarding missed call from me at 14:43. I kindly let her understand I don’t want reservation anymore. Then one more missed call at 21:09 from a different number. I assume it has to be one of those she always keep in her hands 🙌 But...
