AWFUL EXPERIENCE... The only reason why I give this place one star and I dare not to call it a restaurant because of the horrible treatment, is because of its view and location. Besides that we had a very distasteful experience here. I made a reservation for 4 people including me, as we wanted some wine and nice desserts after dinner on our last night in Valencia, let me note we are all young girls. Because of personal reasons we arrived a little late to the restaurant for which I did not think would be a big deal since it was a Monday night, and the restaurant was practically empty. However the manager David approached us with a very rude and hostile behavior which made us all feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome, but since we were already there we decided to stay. We ordered our first bottle of wine to accompany us while we were looking at the dessert menu. When we were ready to order dessert, our waiter told us that we HAD to order food if we wanted to stay inside the restaurant. We were taken aback by this, as we weren't informed about this "rule", neither in the Terms & Conditions on the website, nor when we arrived at the restaurant. When we wanted to address the issue, the manager very loudly and rudely told us that we weren't allowed in the restaurant. Up until this point we had already been treated rudely and felt very disrespected and uncomfortable. But it escalated when the waiter had the nerve to bring us a plastic grocery bag, as they wanted us to put the bottle of wine in the bag and send us out. As he approached, I was pouring wine in a glass, and he tried to stop me and instead take the wine outside in a plastic bag. We have never in our life been disrespected and treated in such an embarrassing and demeaning manner, we were all shocked by how these elder men were treating us as we were inferior to them, making us feel extremely uncomfortable. This hostile treatment continued by them charging us 34.50 EUR for a bottle of wine that costed 16.50 EUR, and excused it with "their menu was not updated", even though we clearly got charged for a different bottle of wine than the one they "served" (gave) us. Because we had reached our level of patience we decided to pay for the bottle since we no longer wanted to have anything to do with this place, however we did tell the manager David that we had an awful experience for which responded to "why are you attacking me." He also said he did not speak any English for which we found odd since Panorama is supposed to be a renowned restaurant in Valencia, and even in small cafes their own waiters speak English. We were able to communicate our our experience and mentioned the wine situation, for which he acted shocked and told us that was a mistake from the waiter. We were able to get our money back but still left very unhappy. I really wish the restaurant reconsiders the types of employees they have starting with their manager, and at least educate them in being nice...

Literally one of the worst experiences I’ve had lately. We had a reservation for which we had to queue up for around 15 minutes because there was only one hostess at the entrance who was solving the problem of the people in front of us. There was no one who came to help her even though the line was getting bigger and bigger and the restaurant was basically empty. We finally managed to get to our table where the same hostess now cleaned our table in front Of us while more people were now waiting for her. The music coming from the club (which is a part Of The whole complex) was absolutely UNBEARABLE and you couldn’t read any kind of warning that there will be such a noise where you feel uncomfortable sitting not to mention eating your dinner. Plus, there was music playing in the restaurant that just added to the complete cacophony that makes your brain explode and your ears bleed. The service was poor, staff was moving around the whole terrace like flies, waiters, cleaning staff (carrying big sacks of trash around us that was dripping on the floor - literally disgusting), security guards… finally when we wanted to order we were told that the Japanese menu is not available and we actually came here in order to eat sushi. Anyway, we order our food from the Mediterranean menu and it arrives being thrown on our table by someone who looked like a cook - probably the fourth person that “served” us or came to our table. Not to mention that the cocktails were served without any napkin, dripping on our clothes while served, half because of the ice melting, half because of the clumsy and unbothered waiter. All in all, we lost our voices shouting at each other because it was not possible to talk and we just wanted to get out of this nightmare ASAP.

I would not recommend this place not even to my worst enemy...

In my review scale, 4 Stars means good food and service and I will return but lacks a few things to warrant my 5 Star “Spectacular” rating.

Of course the top feature of this restaurant was location. Overlooking Playa las Arenas, it is the choice spot for enjoying a fine meal with a backdrop of swimmers, surfers, and sunbathers.

Our table on the terrace overlooking the water that we reserved was not available when we arrived. However, after being seated and brought our beverages, the server accommodated our request to change tables.

Despite having two cocktail bars, they couldn’t accommodate my request for a mojito citing there was nobody to make it. Beach restaurant, Easter vacation week, beach full and no bar tender… I don’t get it… but ok, cerveza it is!

We ordered from El Menu del Dia or the daily menu offering. Food was well prepared and plated nicely. Portions are not large but sufficient.

Service was wonderful. Friendly and attentive but non-intrusive in comparison with countries where servers are working for tips instead of being paid a descent wage.

My major criticism of this place is their attention to aesthetics. The support structures are very rusted and the place feels like it needs a makeover. Honestly, with the quantity of people that must pass through this place, surely the owners can spring for a can of paint. However, given the choice location and, as a result, the volume of customers that must pass through each year, I guess the owners just don’t care. Yes, they are in a salt water location. However, it has been like this each time I hace been here and you don’t see it in any other place. So my interpretation is that the owners just don’t care.

All in all a good experience and I would...

Awful. First and foremost they brought a COLD, not room temperature, no, COLD paella and complained we had served it in the plates when we asked for it to be warmed up, took only the paella, leaving the rice on the plates and rolled their eyes when we asked for the rice on the plates (half of the portion) to be warmed up as well. No apologies was given neither a discount, just attitude. Also you are served warm water while you are set up in a table under hard sun and they would not open an umbrella to stop it. The service is really busy and makes a big effort not to look at you. A glass bottle crashed on the floor and instead of cleaning it they just pushed the broken glass to the side with the feet (there were kids walking around bare foot) Inside it seemed quiet, but outside is incredibly noisy, you are by some sort of attraction with very loud and constantly repeating music tunes. The paella’s taste was just ok (though reheated in the microwave, everyone’s dream), the Andalusian style squid was not bad but a fairly rubbery. The ensaladilla was nice though. Ah, even when we booked we had to queue for 20 minutes and then wait 15 more to be asked what we wanted to order.

A visit to Panorama Sea Restaurant is an unforgettable experience, where divine cuisine meets unparalleled ocean vistas. This hidden gem offers the perfect blend of fresh, innovative seafood dishes and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes every guest feel like a VIP. The attentive staff, led by the knowledgeable and charismatic host, ensures that each visit is a personalized and delightful culinary journey. With their expert guidance, we were treated to delectable dishes such as the tender grilled octopus and the mouth-watering lobster linguine. Each dish was expertly crafted, with fresh ingredients and bold flavors that left us craving more. As we dined, the magnificent ocean views from Panorama's floor-to-ceiling (no) windows provided a serene backdrop, amplifying the overall experience. The restaurant's name is truly fitting, as the panoramic vistas of the coastline and setting sun were nothing short of breathtaking. In summary, Panorama Sea Restaurant is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking top-notch seafood, exceptional service, and awe-inspiring views. It's an experience that will leave a lasting impression on your palate and your heart.
