New burger joint in Rusafa… overall a disappointment but with potential to become a great burger place if they can work on it. They asked us how we wanted the meat to be cooked but ultimately it wasn’t necessary because they serve minced meat patties (carne picada), more so like smashed burgers rather than high-end burger patties. The patties came deconstructed, falling into pieces. The taste was overdosed of butter flavoring in combination with the brioche bun. Ultimately, the burgers are sub-par , similar to the ones you would expect from a food truck on the go during lunch time or at a fair but if this restaurant is about making high-quality burgers, they definitely missed the mark. Need quality meat patties. The venue needs work too, it’s very noisy inside. Good service, amicable staff, they even asked for feedback which a nice touch and hopefully they can work on it and will try again. Oh… and the fries, they give you 12 or so, and on a plastic cutting board. I think they...
Read moreThe place looks unlikely viewed from the small street, and inside is - let's say intimate - with an interesting look, comfy 'schhol' chairs and good sized tables. We ate just at opening time so the space was not busy, but we were welcomed and we ordered quickly from an unusual set of menu choices, and had some good white wine while waiting for the meals, which arrived promptly. The burgers were a bit oily, but were tasty and the chips were excellent and we would have welcomed some more. Not sure about the plastic board as a plate, however, and although we were advised that the burgers were spicy, we didn't find them spicy-hot. Service by Hugo and the team was was first class and friendly. We left satisfied and walked for a while to allow the generously proportioned meal to settle. We'll certainly go again when the burger...
