I was too busy, eating amazing pizza, delicious tiramisu, and absorbing the general good vibes of this wonderful restaurant and forgot to take a picture of the food!
After leaving UnSushi after an hour and not even getting water, we left, furious, grumpy and hungry… and then an Italian oasis appeared, we found Oi Vita.
We are discerning New Yorkers and do not suffer bad food and service gladly so imagine how thrilled we were to be greeted by the kindest most welcoming staff ever who happily seated us, brought us our Perrier and vino toot suit, then a gorgeous arugala saladfollowed by a perfect pizza margarita con jambon, sooo goood! A lovely woman on the stool overlooking the chefs recommended tiramisu… yumm, and we both ordered macchiatos (perfect) and we’re given a surprise lemon cello to finish. Cool vibe, professional if not charming staff :) And after several “ 5 star restaurants” THIS was our best dinner in 5 nights. Trust these New York food snobs, run Lola run to oiVita 🏃🏼♀️ 🍕 🥗- this would have a line around the block in NYC! Bravo...
Read moreWe had a fantastic time in this restaurant, the waiters and the service was phenomenal, the restaurant is lovely, not too crowded, great for dates! We were a tiny bit let down by the food, the cocktails were a bit too sweet (my partner had an aperol and a mojito.) The 'pistacchio lovers' is a great dish which we loved, but be aware that it's quite a big portion for antipasti so if you're with 2 it's a bit too much. The pizzas have a great crust! One of the fluffiest napolitaner I've tasted! However, my partner found the tomato sauce a bit too sweet, however, I liked the margarita a lot! We both agreed that the 8 formaggi was just a bit too heavy. Maybe it was the smoked cheese but we would have preferred a classic 4 formaggi which we didn't see on the menu. All in all, it's a great place and I can recommend it just for the exceptional service alone, and the food is also good compared to...
Read moreWe visited as a family of 4 (2 adults & 2 children). I was very disappointed that the menus were viewed via a QR code as I much prefer to peruse a proper menu (I asked -one wasn’t available). When you look around the restaurant it’s sad watching tables of people scrolling phones looking at the menu it really impacts the atmosphere. No lively discussion looking at options- so sad. This wasn’t the only place in Valencia to do this - obviously not returned to a proper menu since covid. Anyway, the actual pizzas themselves were very tasty with some unusual topping options. It was good to have a childrens option as well. The house white wine was good value and the...
