The Black Turtle - Alameda — Restaurant in Valencia

Went there for a quick meal before leaving for a flight. They failed to order the corrects number of meals and due to the time it took we did not have time to wait. Now for the interesting part we paid for the one meal which we handed back and mistakingly were given the full bill and paid. On realising this we asked for the money back for the meal. The waitress said fine as she knew it was the right thing to do. The manager though saw red immediately and said no only in Spanish then threatened to call the police. After pretending to call them for something he knew the police would simply laugh at and us saying yes please do call the police as we would of welcomed it. This is a bad joke and places like this should definitely not being employing someone quite clearly unstable and completely out of touch with management. Be aware if you go here for food.. I got the chain recommended by friends but I don't think this is the quality they have experienced. This is how the American classic burger looks with matured meat for 16 euros. The pictures speak loud enough. Shocking though was when I asked the waitress if this 1 onion slice on the burger was supposed to be she answered with yes this is how it is. I had to double ask if I could please get some more. Nice place, with great service..the staff was helpful. The burgers were out of this world. I ordered the Bastarda and look, as a person who lived in Kansas, the taste of smoked bacon is really into the daily food intake, I've had good burgers with smoke bacon taste, however this one was delicious, out of this world. The meat was so perfectly tender and tasteful that it melted in my mouth and the smoked taste lasted longer... The fries were the typical homemade ones. For dessert we had the cookie with ice cream. I really recommend this place if you want to eat something different...
