Yuanlaosi Hot pot 袁老四火锅-Valencia — Restaurant in Valencia

I have visited this wonderful restaurant twice now and I'm very happy to report that both have been equally pleasant dining experiences. The buffet is pretty much all inclusive (with the exception of a few items) but you definitely get your money's worth. There are plenty of options (Including vegetarian) and as an avid tofu and mushroom lover I was in heaven with all of the options.  Additionally, the sauce bar is incredible and the staff will even kindly give you some suggestions for mixing ingredients. For the hot pot we had the option of choosing two broths if you wanted to, so we opted for spicy side and a regular side both of which were very popular. We ate so much and so well, this is definitely a favorite spot to bring my friends as I find hot pot to be a social activity the entire dining experience is great; and the decor is very inviting. The price of the Hot Pot Buffet also includes dessert, drinks are separate but overall I'm very happy to visit here. I would highly recommend this dining experience for any special occasions or to bring friends to participate with, I can't wait to...

We mentioned that this was our first time having hotpot. The app was explained to us in very broken English. However, everything in the app was in Spanish and Chinese, including the ingredients. Luckily, we knew about the old paper menu and asked for it. It was a bit outdated, but at least it had English translation and indicators on how long the ingredients should be cooked. Additionally, we missed the explanation on how to make your own dipping sauce and that there were desserts at the end. Therefore, the service, especially the explanation of how everything works, could be improved and better tailored for non-Spanish-speaking tourists.

As for the food: there were many choices of different ingredients, including many exotic items. However, the portions varied greatly. A few ingredients were also unavailable. The mildly spicy option for the spicy broth was quite spicy if you're not used to much heat.

First time trying HotPot. Cannot speak spanish but we got some help. You order by scanning a QR code, the webpage is in Chinese and spanish so it was hard to understand what we ordered. You can order almost anything you want. There are some ingredients that cost more (not included in the buffet, for example some shrimps and crabs and some meats).
