La Piazza Italian Bistro — Restaurant in Yaiza

Would leave 0 stars if possible. Party of 4, pizza was bland, had no tomato base and was luke warm, seafood linguine also bland, hardly any seafood, sharp bits of shell from the muscles and the muscles themselves were gritty, sauce had no flavour at all. Fries arrived stone cold and took around 10 minutes to bring fresh ones out, by this point we had finished eating - not that much was eaten. Focaccia bread starter was not focaccia but thin hard crusty bread. Food also took a long time to come out despite there only being only 4 other tables of people. We had such a nice meal here we actually went to the effort of adding the restaurant onto trip advisor as the restaurant is so new. Over a two week holiday we ate here three times and each time the food we had was very good. We had parmigiana, pizza, risotto, caprese salad, steaks and the quality was very good on each visit. There are many outdoor tables and around 10 indoor tables if you would prefer to eat away from the strong winds you get in Lanzarote. Well worth a visit if you are at the Rubicon Marina. Service was a little slow but give them a break it has only just opened and they are still finding...

Listed 3 times. Although we were on an, all inclusive holiday, this restaurant at Rubicon harbour was well worth paying for. Excellent food (would, if you order the Carbonara, add the garlic prawns from the starters menu to have along this main course meal.) 😋 My wife and I had 3 courses, Mixed Bruchette's, Carbonara (with the garlic prawns from starters menu), and a dessert (shared as we were both full). My wife had 2 cocktails 🍸 and a coke, I had 3 beers 🍻, and the bill came to €100 (£87). Unbelievable price for both quantity...
