FOOD PUB — Restaurant in Colombo

Wow, what an incredible experience! We visited 'The Burger' and despite the name, they offer an extensive selection of seafood and meat dishes. We decided to try their seafood shovel, a unique dish consisting of a hearty portion of rice and an assortment of flavorful seafood. It was truly amazing, striking the perfect balance between flavors without being overly spicy. The staff members were exceptionally attentive and friendly, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment if you're looking to savor local, delectable cuisine without breaking the bank. The restaurant is conveniently located in a bustling area with ample seating options, reminiscent of a vibrant street food market adorned with charming shops. For those with an adventurous palate, this is a must-visit destination. The food quality is consistently high, delivering a scrumptious and satisfying meal. Unfortunately the food is below average. We bought seafood dolphin kottu, savoury golgappa, sweet golgappa, quesadilla.

I was with 2 other people but they only provided a single tissue.

In seafood dolphin kottu there were only small few rotti pieces buried under the gravy. Disappointed considering the 1000+ price tag. Quesadilla is straight up bad! Don't even try it! Sweet golgappa is fine. Savoury golgappa is not that savoury.

We waited a really long time for our golgappa and had to remind him again. We saw him eating few golgappas as well while we're waiting 😁

Overall, place is nice. Cinema concept is great. But considering the bad food quality, I'd rather eat somewhere else than...

Took more than an hour to prepare the order.

We ordered chicken kottu and cheese kottu. Chicken kottu is horrible!!!!!. Cheese kottu was ok when compared with chicken kottu.

However need to say that the staff were extremely committed in preparing the food because we ordered lime juice as well and the person who prepares it just took a small break to have dinner, when the order came without any hesitation at all that person stopped having dinner and went on to prepare the juices for us. That was pretty amazing and kudos to that person for...
