Greasy "Street food". The arancini were soggy. Arancini are not "risotto". Should be crunchy! I tried one out of three. The fried bread pieces with vegetables, from Salento were pieces of fried flour in oil . The seafood coppa was alright which came first. I ordered a panino with grilled eggplant and it turned out that it was a parmigiana (again fried and greasy). I decided to get up and leave. I'm sorry for my bad review and I take full responsibility. My expectations were high, this is the truth. Frying crisp oil free food needs expertise, techniques, clean olive oil) not the olio di sansa nor the Virgin olive oil) and correct frying temperature.
N. B. I just read the owner's reply. Dear sir, I sincerely hope you apologize and delete your false theory regarding this matter. False accusations on my intentions to leave without paying is outrageous. I was asked to wait and I did! I could also reply to your suggestions but It's not worth effort. I prefer to read a good book!

Read moreMy friend and I were both more than happy and pleased about the atmosphere and especially the food. We had this delicious focaccia bread with garlic and chili, and also one with mozzarella and basil and tomato sauce. The taste were very authentic and it was a great way of ending a perfect day. Later we ordered the ciabatta bread with grilled prawns on it. I really didn’t think this could get any better, so I was really surprised about the tenderness and freshness of both the seafood and the crispy bread. Patham and Pradeep we really friendly and courteous, and also took an interest in my friends and my drawings which we did during our dinner time. The atmosphere is really something, elevated above small rooftops, with nice plants and interesting interior, light, and breezy. So this was the perfect inspiration for us illustrators. Thank you so much for...
Read moreAfter a brisk morning walk & swim I popped in at this quaint coffee shop/cafe in the Galle Fort. Damendra , the manager was extremely helpful and welcoming. Excellent service. I had a Cafe Latte and a chocolate croissant. The latte was good, but the croissant wasn’t great. Quite dry and even more dried up chocolate coatings. The best thing about the place was the calming ambience created by the pastel yellow and white interior and most importantly the profusion of plants including flowering pots. As an avid plant lover, it was the best kind of place for me to unwind. WiFi connectivity was also good and enabled me to shoot out a few work mails while having my coffee. Pity about the breakfast choc croissant . Hopefully the owners will make improvements as it certainly wasn’t value for money & of...
