Was a sweltering humid day and IOG was the perfect place to drop in. Staff was good, I don't know about the guy who said the delivery guys were bad but they were a joy to chat with and very nice. Atmosphere was good too, in short a decent place and good people.
Influencers have a knack of showboating to gain followers and promotions but the honest to God truth is lost in their haste to plaster their faces on IG and TikTok. So here goes the truth for once,
Is the gelato something to write home about with all the fanfare these people show? No.
Don't get me wrong here, the flavours are good but it's not great. Puthalaum sea salt which was fan favorite was plain vanilla with rare to find 1 or 2 salt pieces.
Glaring issue is there were no mention of the ingredients within the ice cream. This is very worrying as there might be kids or even adults who are alergic to nuts and other ingredients. The chocolate gelato is just chocolate gelato and that's it. The quantity for the price could have increased a bit as well IMHO.
These guys should have had their own signature taste when it come to those plain old chocolate gelato to make you go Daaamnnn!!! BUT if you try one here you left wondering what is it that these influences bragged about here. I believe it's a disservice to not tell the truth so that they can improve and Yes, they can be the best.
Make even the simplest taste better IOG, give each and every gelato a twist so when your customers try it they don't think it's just ice cream and why I payed so much for one. Instead let they say in truth, damnnn that's the best gelato I had while visiting SL.
