Domino's Pizza - Galle — Restaurant in Galle

Very disgusting place! Not recommended for anyone! I went there to get Amex Promotion. I saw very unprofessional behavior by the main staff. When we are entering into the place. On available tables there are used and garbage orders at every table. No one cleaned it. And when I was the cashier to give my order. One customer came and told the cashier girl that ‘there is no place to sit there, because tables are not clean. Please clean the table and give them clean places to sit!' She looked over places and told the customer ‘Aunty, all our staff are busy here after. After finishing work here, staff members can go there and clean.’ I am so confused. How did she call aunty to a customer? After that, the customer goes there and collects all the trays on the tables and puts them on one table. My friend's table was also cleaned by that lady. Shame on the Galle branch staff. And I try to give my order. For the first time the cashier didn’t know anything.(if she is a newbie it could happen) she asked everything from someone who called ‘Abhi’ was came and gave advice, then went back again. First gave orders for a Veggie pizza and a medium chicken pizza (because one of my friends was a vegetarian) but they suggested is that they can give a medium pizza without chicken. So I went back to my friends and discussed it and I went there to give my order. But Abhi told me that I wanted to wait there (to give my order again) after 2 customers had newly arrived. It’s okay, I waited. Then I ordered teriyaki chicken L and choco cheese M pizzazz. But that cashier girl told me that I couldn’t order from that range for promotion. But Abhi told me that I could order 2 ranges. So I told her before me that ranges can order for promotion. Then she asked about Abhi. Abhi went to the cashier and told them that they could get it. Then the cashier girl told Abhi that choco cheese didn’t show in their system. Then Abhi also told me choco cheese pizza is not allowed to order it for promotion. They told me that for promotion I needed to order only chicken pizzazz. I am so frustrated, because they changed what they told me when I was trying to order some veggie pizzazz. And this is not my first time that I have faced a terrible experience. They nearly sent me a promotional massage, but when we went there to buy them, they told us items, stocked out. Last time they did it to me. As a loyal member of Dominos Pizza, I am really dissatisfied with this branch's customer service. Because I want Colombo, Kandy dominos pizza branches, they give great customer service. But this branch has very unprofessional and very badly-manned staff members. So don’t go there if you want great customer service. So I turned back to my friends without ordering anything and I went to Pizza Hut Galle. They are such professional and well-mannered staff. I am truly happy that Pizza Hut trains their staff members so professionally. They greet their customers. Clean all the tables. They don’t bother customers about anything. So go to Pizza Hut when you are in Galle. Don’t go to this rubbished place ever. They don’t know how to keep their customers satisfied and they don’t know how to do their job properly. If dominos could change management in this branch as loyal customers, I would appreciate that. Until that, then, me or my friend will never go there again. I also complain about this matters for Dominos Head Office Hotline. But They also not much care about it. So be aware about bad customer services because you don’t need to waste your money and time for like this...

I recently had the pleasure of ordering from Domino's Pizza in Galle, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. We decided to try their Hot Chili Chicken Pizza and the Hot Teriyaki Chicken Pizza, and both selections exceeded our expectations!

First and foremost, the taste was absolutely delicious. Each slice was bursting with flavor, and the balance of spices on the Hot Chili Chicken Pizza was just right—spicy yet satisfying. The Hot Teriyaki Chicken Pizza had a perfect sweet-savory combination that left us wanting more.

The aroma of the pizzas was incredibly enticing, with that irresistible cheesy scent wafting through the air. It was clear that they use fresh ingredients as the flavors were vibrant and the crust was perfectly baked—not too thick and not too thin. Freshness truly elevated our dining experience.

Another aspect that impressed me was the on-time service. Our pizzas arrived exactly when promised, which is always a plus when you're eagerly awaiting your meal. The staff at Domino’s were also the best—friendly, professional, and attentive, making our interaction enjoyable.

One of the worst experiences I ever had in my life was at Galle Domino's. Manager and the staff is so unprofessional, rude and arrogant behaved as if we are being fed with their money. All the international food hygiene codes are violated at the kitchen. Non of the personnel handling food seemed to wash hands nor wear gloves. Masks were out of the equation and could be seen them touching their faces and hair while preparing the pizzas even. When informed to the manager he didn't even pay attention, which made me call the customer care hotline and to my disappointment it seems like Domino's SriLanka have hired a group of cheap, rude and impudent people who work along side covering up each other's backs. I went there to dine in but ended up taking away the food and feeding them to local stray dogs out of fear of getting cholera.
