My brother and I had the pleasure of dining at Hungry Restaurant during our visit to Galle, and we were blown away by the exceptional experience we had here. From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in for a treat!

Firstly, the ambiance was warm and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a delightful meal. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home.

Now, let's talk about the food – absolutely divine! We started with the chicken cream soup, and it was a heavenly concoction of flavors. Creamy, rich, and seasoned to perfection, it was the ideal appetizer to whet our appetites.

For the main course, we decided to try their Thai seafood rice, and it was a decision we didn't regret! The combination of flavors and the freshness of the seafood left us speechless. Each bite was a burst of taste, and we couldn't get enough.

Just went there to have lunch. This Restaurant is very tiny one. Located in moda ela road few steps From the Galle town. This is Looking old. But that was an advantage for them. People also love antique. They made it stunning. Very low space and few tables can be arranged. Wall designs are breath taking. Beautiful lights are really nice design that place makes even better. Calm lights invite you to take your meal peacefully. Lighting does not bother you. Crew is customer friendly. They clean the tables really quick and place is clean. Menu is also tiny. You do not have more choices. They have everything which is menu included. The serving plates are wooden made. So that is eco friendly other way. They took sometime to prepare the meal. The food and drinks are really great. Marvelous. I ordered a Veggie and garlic fried rice. It was 1100 lkr. It was enough for two people. Prices are average. Not too cheat nor expensive. You can park your vehicles at the road and no specified parking for this rest. But somehow I am okay with this restaurant....

Hungry restaurant in Galle is a nice restaurant situated near the main bus station. It serves a variety of foods including fried rice, kottu, noodles, pasta dishes and more.

We had a chicken fried rice and a spicy chicken kottu as takeout. Chicken fried rice was good and tasty. But I did not feel the heat in the spicy chicken kottu. As someone who loves spicy food, I felt a little disappointed with the flavor of the Kottu. However the taste of the Kottu was okay.

The portion sizes of the dishes are also good considering the price. I would say the large portion is enough for three people.

The interior of the restaurant should get a shoutout as the place is beautiful, warm and cozy with the ancient style...
