Poppels Citybryggeri — Restaurant in Göteborgs Stad

Nice ambience and the staff is friendly. They are offering a new menu in every week (Monday - Friday). Snacks and Desserts, contains 2-3 options. The 4 mains per week under the categories Salad, Soup, The Bakery(mostly will be a pizza kind of an item), The Kitchen(a dish with meat or fish serve with potatoes). I have dine-in there 2 times and the food was good. They are offering free bread with butter until the food is served. The portion size was sufficient for me. But my colleagues have mentioned that the portion size is bit small for them comparing to the price. The restaurant get mostly filled by 12-12.30....

My sambo and I had a short weekend trip to Gothenburg and stayed at the Scandic hotel next door. Popped by this restaurant for a few drinks and a snack, and we were not disappointed. Tried some interesting homebrewed beers including the sparkling beer. The ceviche and patatas bravas were delicious and priced reasonably for Gothenburg.

Service was excellent and friendly. Little mistake with the bill at the end but they quickly rectified the situation. Definitely can recommend to anyone who’s interested in beers and...

So nice local. Very spacious and good management of sound (talk, music) Staff helpfull and werry nice to talk to. Thay brew there pilsner in the place. So is super fresh. Is a modern style of pilsner a bit sour and hoppy for my taste. I hade chicken lunch, the restaurant is werry environment friendly. So don't hesitate to ask for more chicken or dressing or anything. They happily serve u. The chicken was very Krispy from outside and juice from inside. Hope u will enyoj the time, atmosphere and food/drink...
