Despite being a 50 year old restaurant it had modern interior and looked really fresh and new.
The staff were nice and friendly. I’ve only got one complaint and that is despite us preordering we waited almost one hour for our food to come.
Har Gow, they were good and not much more to say. I definitely recommend their orange chicken if you go here, an absolute treat. The canto duck was alright, it lacked a bit in flavour. Sliced duck peaking style, for me this was my least liked dish and I preferred the canto duck, but other people in my group did enjoy it. So it depends on your preference. A clear focus on the menu with specific dishes from regions they are familiar with. An extensive vegan menu and pride in what they do. The price point is a bit higher than your usual, let’s call it, Asian restaurant, but it’s well deserved. Starting from the modern and charming Chinese ambience, to the attentive and proud staff and lastly to the fantastic food. It’s unlike other places and having a little feast with your significant other or friends along the vegan menu is going to be something you won’t regret.

Read moreI’m usually picky with Chinese food as it always taste too European but the aubergines tasted like the one made by my Chinese friend and Mapo Tofu was simply exceptional! We ordered a very good Wan Ton soup and meat dumplings like we never had since long time. The dishes are Sichuan-oriented style, which I love, and we suggest pushing a bit the boundaries and include pork ear, chicken feet and other delicacies to the menu. Next time we’ll go for the duck but the website needs improvements in the menu section.
