Overall, a decent club with a lively atmosphere, but be aware of potentially unfair treatment by the security staff.
I’ve visited this club several times and generally had a good experience. The venue offers a great atmosphere with different types of music on each floor, catering to a wide range of tastes. The second floor tends to be the most crowded, and the DJs usually play really good sets. It’s a fun place to dance and enjoy a night out with friends.
Drink prices are quite standard for Sweden—not cheap, but not overpriced either.
However, one downside is the security. Their judgment can sometimes feel arbitrary. Even if you’re not heavily intoxicated, they may still decide to remove you from the club. While I’ve never been kicked out myself, I’ve had to explain to security that I wasn’t drunk and was simply enjoying the night. Luckily, they listened, but I know this isn’t always the case for everyone.
Unfortunately, this kind of attitude from club security isn’t unique to this venue—it can happen at many clubs across Sweden. Since it’s usually late at night and security has the final say, it can be hard to dispute their decisions. If you feel you’ve been treated unfairly, I’d recommend writing a review to share your experience.
In summary, I would recommend visiting this club. The music, vibes, and layout make it a fun night out - as long as you’re mindful of your behavior and stay on the safe side when it comes to dealing...
Read moreGenerally speaking it’s a nice bar and club but it also depends which DJ is playing. However, they have a racist bouncer at the entrance (blond hair, black coat and not wearing the security uniform) who constantly discriminates international students i.e. people of color! He’ll deny entrance to colored people because they did not wear the typical white sneakers but will allow entrance to the white folk who wear winter boots (which is officially also not allowed to wear). Basically he’ll come up with any excuse in order to deny entrance to international students. His behavior towards international students is very disrespectful, aggressive and disgusting! I have seen this situation with my friends and other people who tried to enter the bar. He also responded to me in a very disrespectful and aggressive way when I asked him ‘why my friend is not allow to enter’ (at that point I felt unsafe and verbally attacked by him). Every other security guard and service staff seem to be friendly and respectful (since I’ve been there many times).
Yakida clearly should not allow racist and aggressive behavior like the bouncer I mentioned, and it is questionable if they really stick to their policy of „no place for racism and...
Read moreThis place looks fine and cozy but this place is origin of racism in Sweden. The staff at the gate was so rude and racist. We review clubs for nightlife but this place has egregiously unwelcoming. I would like to write to its management and board team or CEO if anyone knows them please share their contact details and I like to write an article about it. Irrespective of creed, color and race people have the right to enjoy but this place not for that. Moreover, it is understandably known if guests are rude then they are not allowed but this place I am not sure how they tolerate such behaviors and it tells something about the culture and people at that place. I think either they train the staff or hire better staff from Park Lane or some other places or they close this place if they do not know how to behave in a...
