Food gets served in 5 minutes but can be too hot. I burned myself when I tried the Double Cheese while The Shrooms was okay. Hipster Juice was good but took it as a takeaway, so it had some time to cool down.
What you get: The portions are decent but can be too little. A normal portion is JUST enough for me. Heard people in a conversation say that it was enough if they are being nice. One can pay extra for a bigger portion, which I did when I was going to eat Hipster Juice, but it didn't seem any bigger.
Taste of main dishes: Hipster Juice is my favourite, it was just right. Couldn't get enough of it. Unfortunately, they are removing the dish.
The Shrooms was good at first but quickly felt very repetitive and boring.
Double Cheese was good, a bit repetitive too, but not as much. Once I ate it up I wanted to lick the plate.
Side dishes: The side dishes are expensive compared to the main ones. Only tried Herby Mozza and it is DELICIOUS. Everything in the little dish seemed to work well together, but you get too little for the price.
Service: The staff is good overall. But one time I was in a hurry. When the woman who took my order asked if I'll eat there, I said yes, but asked if I can get it as a takeaway if I need to go and she said yes. But I still got it served as dine-in.
Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair friendly since all the tables are too high. However, during summer, they have normal-heightened tables you can sit at outside. Unsure if a wheelchair would fit through their door and their bathroom is too small.
Atmosphere: Small space. There is one row of bar tables facing the windows, with 8 chairs. Then there is an L-shaped "sofa" where around 3-7 people can sit + 4 chairs around the same table. Not sure how many tables or chairs there are outside during summer.
If you want to dine in, go when most people don't eat out. On a Thursday at 4 pm there were no guests on a single table.
The music seems fine, low enough that I won't pay attention to it.
Other: Impressed by their fresh toilet with a cool aesthetic. It was clean and smelled nice. The only downside would be for the employers because the keys to replace paper and soap were in the paper/soap holders. Can sadly imagine a chance that the key...
Read moreI visited the restaurant Benne Pastabar at Malmö Hansa on 2024-07-30 at around 15:10. The first order, prepared by a lady, was Slow Tomato and Smoked Pig. It was great. The service was excellent, and the food was also great; I couldn't complain. Afterward, we ordered dessert, specifically Tiramisu, which was served by a male with dark hair and wearing reading glasses. Since we don't live in Malmö and had to travel for over an hour, my son was very hungry, and as soon as the Tiramisu was served, he started eating. The cake looked terrible and disgusting; it was far from how it looked in the picture or at least how it is shown on your TikTok account. It was messy, and the cake was all over the plate. I considered taking a picture of it and posting it on your social media, but it was too late. I was thinking of talking to that male but I was quite upset already and didn't want to ruin what was supposed to be a good experience at your restaurant. Regardless of how cheap the food was, there are certain standards you should meet: quality (taste), presentation, and service. I hope this wasn't done because of our race. The cake was served as if it was meant for animals. If you don't know how to serve or plate a cake, then don't do it. My receipt shows 'Ni har betjänat av Mariano.' If this is the male with dark hair and wearing reading glasses, shame on you. You don't understand the meaning of service and shouldn't be working in...
Read moreSolid lunch place. Has to be some of the cheapest yet qualitative lunches in central Malmö. Their tomato pasta is only 60kr and its really filling. The pasta is high quality and they have glutenfree pasta and alot of vegetarian options. And theyre open until pretty late which is great for a late night snack.
I was actually informed by the very nice cashier that they serve the glutenfree version in the very hungry size as well which is really great.
Theres not really any place to sit like a normal pasta restaurant as it is more of a quick grab and go place so just keep that in mind when you go there. However i do like that it makes it more accessible to alot of...
