Paddy's — Restaurant in Malmö kommun

Unfortunately, I came across of what I didn't expect. I was forced to leave the bar because I had a hat. I asked the security why? They refused to answer. I even talked to the manager of the bar, I asked the same question. But he refused to answer it. I asked, is there any dress codes here? No answer. I was there with my colleagues from 5pm almost until 12pm. Why the security guards didn't warn me at the first place? I came outside for several times for smoking and there was not any issues when entering the bar or I was even standing beside the security woman during the live music!. They asked me to take of my hat off or I have to leave. Willingly I said since you didn't give me a concrete reason I am gonna leave. They event didn't let me to take my bag and my stuff. I called the police and I asked them for help to get my stuff back, unfortunately there was no help which made me very disappointed. Because I asked the security guards the same thing, please at least give me my stuff back, and no answer. During leaving, Security guards used bad words towards me since I talked to them in English and they didn't know I can understand Swedish. Then they got surprised. The manager was drunk which is really bad!!!, the security guards very unprofessional and impolite. The conclusion was that this bar ruined my day, my birthday and my colleagues day because they left because of me. Psychologically, it affected me badly. I am about to find a lawyer to sue this bar unless I get an official apology. You embarrassed me front of my colleagues and people. This is a tough one to review. While I really wanted to like Paddy's it feels like a lot of its issues are due to poor management. Paddy's got a nice but ultimately lacking menu, massive amounts of alcohol, with a mark-up almost mocking the guests.

Paddy's wants to be a fine dining restaurant but also a English pub, while simultaneously being a nightclub. I've always believed in focusing ones efforts on few specific categories so as not to become mediocre in all of them.

And sadly my experience was close to one of the worst I've experienced. It goes as following: We arrive a couple minutes before our booking believing that we might have to cue for our table. We find out there is no line for the booking at all. Great we think we'll get our table in no time. Well it took them 15 minutes before they even came to ask us if we've booked a table. So now we've been seated almost 20 minutes after our original booking. This might not have been an issue but when booking at Paddy's they make it very clear that you have a very specific time to sit not a second longer than your booked time. So we've lost a third of our dining time already.

The employees are stressed out of their minds. Almost running around to keep the pace at which the customers come pouring in. So understandably their demeanor is less than perfect. Again this is purely a managing issue.

The food was ok, it costs about 200-500 kr which for the actual quality is shameful. You could make better food yourself sadly. The alcohol was plently and from what I drank I can't complain. Very bad experience. We went as a group of people, some of us ordered appetisers, some dinner. Well appetisers came pretty quick, but for dinner we had to wait for more than 2 hours!! Service was professionally ignoring us and when we finally managed to get their attention they were very impolite. The food was very very bland. Croquettes I ordered were the worst I ever had, tasted like paper. Pasta was very bland too. I started wondering if I have Covid since I couldn’t taste much lol. Prizes are high, portions small, atmosphere is weirdly snobbish. Our friend was not able to join us inside since, since appearently they are not letting in people who are below 30 years old?
