This morning in Stockholm, the temperature dropped to a brisk 11°C, and even with my puffer vest on, I was feeling the chill. Desperately craving a hot breakfast, I started frantically searching Google Maps for a cozy café. After what felt like an eternity of scrolling, I finally found a local spot in Gamla Stan that promised warmth and comfort. The walk took about ten minutes—not too bad, really, though in this cold it felt like an arctic expedition.

When I arrived, I was greeted by the sight of a four-egg omelette topped with salmon, served sizzling hot right in the skillet. To make things even better, it was generously covered with arugula and cheese, creating a delightful mess that could warm even the coldest of mornings. The eggs were perfectly cooked, giving off that comforting "just like home" vibe. And the coffee? Surprisingly good—although, in Sweden, I suspect you can get a decent cup of coffee just about anywhere.
