We're waiting for a waiter for 10-15 min. I noticed some not vegan alcohols such as Jack Daniel's and Aperol Spritz. At the same time in the menu they said 'All our wines are vegan'. I couldn't find any info about LA MÉRIDIONALE from the menu. So I asked the personnel and pointed the fact they have not vegan alcohols.
After this another waiter or maybe manger came to us. She was already kinda angry / nervous. She shoot us with questions 'what do you want to order???'. I asked about wines again. И понеслось. She said to me 3 times that 'vegan certs are expensive and not every vegan wine has it'. Yes, I know it! She wasn't listening. She didn't care I know all of this perfectly. I just wanted to know how exactly they made sure it's vegan. I wanted to know how the wine was filtered / clarified. They couldn't answer me.
'I can't call and ask the company right now'. Well I NEVER ASKED FOR IT.
I decided to leave because the atmosphere was SO BAD. She heard I speak Russian and started asking me 'Speak Russian with me!!!'.
At the end she said that they serve not vegan whickey for some customers who want this whickey.
Are you vegan restaurant or not?! Stick with vegan principles after all!

Tucked away on a quiet Stockholm side street, Verte is the kind of place you almost don’t want to tell anyone about – it’s that special. This intimate vegan haven redefines what plant-based dining can be: thoughtful, bold, and deeply satisfying. From the moment you step inside, you’re met with a calm, earthy atmosphere and a staff that radiates warmth and quiet confidence.
The menu? A symphony of seasonal Nordic ingredients turned into dishes that are as beautiful as they are inventive. Their smoked beet tartare was a revelation – silky, smoky, and delicately balanced – while the mushroom risotto had umami so rich you’d swear it came from another world. Every bite feels curated with purpose, not just for flavor, but for texture, emotion, and even memory.
The wine list is equally intentional – natural, organic, and perfectly paired by a team that clearly knows their stuff without making you feel like you’re being lectured. It’s the kind of place where everything just flows effortlessly, yet every detail has been...
Read moreI had lunch here today, and I can’t recommend this place.
I wanted to have the buffet and went to take the soup that was about to finish, but I could scoop up the last spoons. But then I saw that all the other options weee finished. There was only some rice and couscous left, with a bit of vegofars and some baked carrots. As I saw that there wasn’t much food I order the burger.
The burger was okay, nothing amazing, just a normal tofu burger.
The worst thing was that they charged me for the buffet even though I could only have 4 spoons of soup and when I told her she said “yes I know, but I will charge you for the buffet as well” I had to pay 350 sek for a bit of soup and the burger. Never again.
