I ordered a matcha oat latte and after 15 minutes, was served a lukewarm green liquid - no oat milk, no froth, just a bland, soupy drink. I watched the staff prepare it by pouring the matcha powder straight into the water in the cup, no whisking, no blending, just dumped in and stirred. It was clear they had no idea how to prepare matcha.

When I asked about it, the staff member at the till (a blonde girl) mocked my question and responded with passive-aggressive rudeness. Totally unprofessional and unnecessary.

I also noticed other customers being visibly frustrated, waiting a long time for their orders. It takes a lot for me to write a negative review, but this experience left a bad taste in more ways than one. If you don’t know how to make something, don’t serve it - and certainly don’t treat your customers with disrespect....

It has been said that there are still pockets of the Earth, completely untouched by civilization. There may be people or tribes that have lived by themselves for generations - without ever encountering anyone from the Western world. Yet, if this is true, I still think they could whip up a better cappuccino than the one I just had...
