La Neta Bar — Restaurant in Stockholm

It is sad to see how much La Neta’s quality has dropped during the past few years. I used to have a good impression on this place when I was here last time around 2 years ago and the times before that, however this time we had some dishes that were literally inedible. The corn tortilla tacos were very dry and hard, tasted like they had been out in the open air for a long while. The carrot and zucchini quesadilla tasted like they forgot to put salt on. No need to mention the guacamole had unblended big pieces of avocado inside. The WORST part was the beef tacos, both my big taco and my partner’s small taco were the same inedible. The beef texture was like rubber, chew all you want but you could never break it. We had to waste our food because we could not swallow rubber. I’ve eaten a lot of Mexican food in my life, partly due to friends of ours owning a traditional Mexican restaurant in Holland. La Neta promised to be good, but let us down in all possible ways.

To sum a few things up: Everything was way, but really, way too salty. I’ve never tasted such watery, runny and salty guacamole The pork Al Pastor taco was dry, incorrectly flavored and not prepared in a traditional way. The other tacos were either bland or way too salty. Paying with a foreign card was a real hassle. Staff was unfriendly, unhelpful and completely uninterested in us as guests.

In conclusion: I cannot imagine how this restaurant has almost five stars and would discourage anyone to go eat here unless you want...

Imo it is a 3.5 ⭐ for the food, service was 2 ⭐ and the atmosphere was 3 ⭐. I kinda felt lost when I came in. The staff were too busy to say hi, you'll have to find a seat yourself. If there's more customers coming in at the same time, you'll probably have to "fight for your seats" so it's kinda stressful. The space in between tables and people is tight, the toilet was filled with trash and small flies were seen flying around. Fortunately they cleaned the table pretty quick, food was served quickly as well. We had to leave as soon as we finished our food because the entire atmosphere was too tense and unpleasant.
