We tried to book for 11 people for a birthday. The staff were rude, they kept asking us to book through the email for the same day that was 12pm. By 5pm we didn’t get any confirmation beside us calling many times. 5pm we called and they said they booked us a table. We have asked if we can bring a cake to celebrate a birthday and the person on the phone said : Absolutely.
We came at 8:30, and there was no booking. The staff managed to get us a table in the end. The dishes we orders didnt come correctly. They brought the cake smashed, they didnt clean the table or even bring clean dishes for the cake.
our experience was marred by the rudeness of the staff. We had informed them in advance over the phone that we would be bringing a cake to celebrate a birthday.
Upon arriving at the restaurant, we presented the cake, we requested that they serve it for us. However, to our surprise and disappointment, the staff refused to accommodate this simple request. We were more than willing to pay any associated service fee, but they declined to assist us in serving the cake.
Additionally, we were informed that candles were not allowed due to safety concerns. While we understand safety policies, we had used a small, standard cake candle before in another restaurant the previous day without any issue. It was disheartening to have our request for a small, symbolic candle dismissed so vehemently. We even had an engineers at our table who found it hard to believe that a small candle could trigger a fire alarm.
It's also worth noting that we did not have a reservation due to a misunderstanding, but we had made it clear during our phone call about bringing the cake. We expected the staff to make a note of this and facilitate a smooth experience.
Overall, the lack of flexibility, understanding, and courtesy from the staff made what should have been a joyful celebration a disappointing and frustrating experience. We hope the restaurant takes customer feedback seriously and improves their service and booking system for large group to ensure a more pleasant experience for...
Read moreToday I had brunch with my son and I think people that works there have no sense of service. First no people to welcome us even we have booking. We sit exactly in front of their station (where they go or stay all the time to put in orders to their system) but none of them (not even the hovmästare) until we finish eating come by and ask if how's the food or if I need something. She came by one time with one of my food orders and I can see that she is nice but she gives nothing 'extra'. As a person in charge is good that she can go around and ask guests how's the food, etc. Instead she sits on the bar and eat with other people that works there that came with plain clothes. People that sits next to us who came later then us get asked by the waiter how's the food and the waiter is very nice to them. I even have to go up and go to their drink station to ask for straw for my son.
I don't know if they understand the Corona prevention, the waiter tried to sit people on the table next to us. The outside servering is also full with no distance between tables. I see no sanitizing alcohol around that people can use to clean their hands
Food are so so and when we order ice cream the waitress and the waiter don't know what flavors they have. Ask for wifi, again they dont know directly, they have to ask other people for the the code. Ice cream came and the churros taste not good and my son's ice cream is melting already. Even my son noticed the waiter has snus when he served which is I think is disgusting.
From a person who works in the same service bransch for long time I think they need to really improve. For the amount of money that people pay for their meal the service is bad. I rather go to other place next time to spend my money on brunch: The only positive I can give is the runner is really nice and she is quick when I asked for mayonnaise (they don't have tomato ketchup which is also odd thinking that kids can also come with their parents...
Read moreWe went here because we saw it listed on a 'top 5 places to eat in Stockholm' article. We love tapas so were looking forward to our visit. When we arrived, our table was not ready, despite booking, and we were seated at the bar but were not offered a drink. Multiple different staff members came over to see if we had been sat, so there seemed to not be much communication or organisation in the restaurant. The staff asked if we wanted to eat at the bar, to which we said no, we'd rather wait for our table. Nevertheless, when we were seated the staff were really nice and helpful, and we ordered easily. Everything was going well until the music was turned up ridiculously loud, and some Spanish dancers appeared. We thought it was someone's birthday so we stopped to watch, however they just danced around the restaurant. This went on for 10 minutes, and the music was so loud we were unable to have a conversation. Instead we had to just eat our food in silence whilst the women danced around the restaurant. I don't know if this happens all the time but it was unpleasantly loud. I would not come back here again, the management seemed poor and the dancers completely spoiled our experience. It would have been fun for two minutes but ten minutes with ear-splittingly loud music was way too much. I have to say though, all the waiters were very pleasant and friendly, it just seems that there is poor management, and the food...
