Rude customer service, I payed without getting any voucher. They claimed that I haven't payed. After they did the misstake they had a lot of excuses to why it happend. In the end they saw the payment. Nevertheless, they should work on their customer service.
Edit after the respons from the owner below
Here is the email I got even if I payed....
''Good morning,
Gift cards are produced and emailed automatically, as soon as the payment is made. In your case the payment was not completed and so no gift card was produced.
If you would like to purchase a gift card you can do so here.
Best wishes,
xxx''
I had the correct email adress (got it 10 days ago), I got an email confirmation from them before that (same day I made the purchase). I could also see in my bank that I made the payment. But didn't get the voucher. here it is..
''Dear xxx,
Thank you for purchasing a Fox in a Box gift card.
Once the payment is received, we will send your Fox in a Box gift card to the email provided when you made your order. You can print it yourself or forward it to anyone you wish to surprise with this amazing gift.''
They claim below that I made an error in my email, interesting that I got an confirmation (judge by yourself what make sense). Today, 10 days after I get the voucher after a back and forth. Can you imagine? They took the payment and weren't thruthful about it. Didn't get a product or a receipt. Which is illegal. Not sure if they understand that this can be reported to konsumentverket.
It is a bit troublesome when you get the owner responding below with these type of excuses. Very unfortunate. Not being able to...
Read moreOver the years I've played most of the rooms that Fox in a Box has to offer. In most cases they've been really fun a challenging, but unfortunately they've been lacking that little extra which usually comes down to having an immersive experience with engaging employees and setting. Unfortunately since they moved to a bigger location on Sveavägen this is gotten even worse. Despite of having the opportunity to do something unique, they seem to have saved money on where it's really needed, the immersive experience.
As of now your introduction is done via a screen before you enter the room and not a person as it used to be. When entering the room you'll notice that the room doesn't have a ceiling, meaning that it's open to all the other rooms making you able to hear other participants in other rooms who are talking, screaming and laughing. Basically it's a cubicle with solid walls. This pulls you out of the experience instantly and makes you lose focus when trying to solve puzzles.
When finishing the room there's no time for contemplation or asking questions to employees about the room and the experience since they're understaffed and only have time for payment, before literally having to run to help other players.
I still like Fox in a Box, but I am at the same time happy to have done more or less all the other rooms at the previous location before they moved. There are alot of other Escape Room companies in Stockholm and if you want an immersive experience I would suggest not going for Fox in a Box anymore,...
Read moreGreat entertainment for people who like team work and logical puzzles. It's 300 SEK per person regardless of how many people you are in one room. You can be between 1-7 people, but I would not recommend being more than 4 or it'll be too many chefs for one soup! The puzzles are in a wide range of areas ranging from simple math to patterns and analog engineering. There's no climbing, breaking, tearing, crawling. Only thinking, walking, poking, and digging/looking through stuff. You really need to pay attention and keep an eye out for small details. They speak both English and Swedish and you can get help throughout the game if you want it. I highly recommend this place! The only downside is the lack of a designated...
