We expected a Chinese/Asian restaurant where you eat like you typically do in Asian countries (share dishes). In practice itâs a tapas place with mildly Asian inspired menu.
there atmosphere is not asian in any way quite noisy despite the spacious seating, lacks feeling of privacy the food took almost 1 hour to prepare taste was meh: their tofu was tasty, the ribs a bit to salty, the bang bang okay but a bit powdery, the potatoes were poor (drenched in vinegar??), and the beef is best described as a âconfused identity crisisâ we had 5 dishes for 2 people and it was not enough. (Our price was around 160-180 SEK per dish) nitpick: we got a poorly located table along the main service lane. Staff is very busy and a waiter accidentally crushed into my partners seat the cocktail was very good. They also have a separate bar, so if you just want to socialize I would try that option. nitpick: we were served our drinks one by one as they became available. Is it unrealistic to wish for them to be served to everybody at the same time?
Overall I can, unfortunately, not recommend this place. In this price tier I expect the restaurant to impress in at least one aspect of the experience. We were disappointed across taste, atmosphere, portion size, and service. If you feel lucky, give it a try and you might like the taste - if you want something for a special occasion I would...
Read moreWe visited this restaurant as a group of eight tourists - 2 families - and had a deeply disappointing experience. In all our travels, we've never encountered a situation where a restaurant refused to seat us simply because the kitchen decided not to accommodate us.
We were willing to split into smaller groups to ease any operational burden, but the assistant manager still refused to seat us. If there had been a minimum spend requirement, we would have appreciated a clear explanation. Instead, we were pressured into ordering a set menu that didnât suit our dietary restrictions.
After several inquiries, we were finally told the restaurant cannot seat us â even though it was dinner time and the place was completely booked empty. The treatment we received was unprofessional and disrespectful, and we ultimately left without being seated or served.
I would not recommend this restaurant, especially to groups or those with dietary needs. The service was inflexible, unwelcoming, and far from what...
Read moreIâm a restaurant owner from Poland and have traveled extensively around the world without ever facing issues like the one I experienced here.
I visited this restaurant with my friends family, including children. Unfortunately, we were not allowed to be seated. When I asked to speak with the manager, the staff member first claimed she was the manager, then later changed her explanation and said she was the assistant manager and said the kitchen couldnât accommodate usâeven though we offered to split into smaller groups.
We were also told we could only order from a set menu, which we didnât find appealing. Despite our willingness to be flexible, she insisted that the set menu was the only option.
The experience left us feeling unwelcome, and unfortunately, it gave the impression that we were not treated fairly or equally in some ways racist. I hope the restaurant reflects on this and considers improving how they handle diverse guests...
