Restaurang Parken — Restaurant in Stockholm

My girl and I had dinner at this place. We shared a few small dishes and some drinks. It cost us around 1000 SEK. Nothing special in terms of food or taste.

After ordering the waiter came back twice to confirm what we ordered (he didn’t take notes while we ordered). While we were eating and waiting for more dishes to come, surprisingly, they asked us to move to another table in the corner since they needed the table all of a sudden.

I think they tried to compensate by leaving a beer on our new table without any explanation. The situation got even worse when my girl realised that they offered a free drink only to me and didn’t say any word to her at all.

We live nearby and we are in love with the location however I can’t imagine we ever go back to...

Very disappointed with this place. I had heard a lot of good things about it and was looking forward to trying it. However, a lot went wrong.

First, we got a waiter who was clumsy, he knocked over a candle and seemed unsure of what he was doing.

The food was good and worth trying, but not at those prices.

Then there was the restaurant manager/owner. He kept coming over, trying to make small talk and asking questions. He interrupted us while we were eating and talking. At one point, he even sat down with us. Definitely not pleasant and he couldn’t read the room. He bragged and talked badly about other restaurants.

I will not be visiting this place again. It would be better suited as a place to order good food...

Som en liten oas mitt i det centralaste av Stockholm. Uteserveringen är harmonin självt mitt i en park. Labneh (90:-) med gurka och bröd är en perfekt ”dela mellan alla vid bordet fast vi borde ta i en till”-rätt. Blomkål (80:-) var välkryddad men kanske lite nja… Skulle behövt lite mer syra och nån kompis. Råbiff (175:-) ska man inte dela med nån för då kommer det bli bråk. Den är så god att man vill ha den själv. Grovt tärnat kött som var mört och härligt. Confiterad kyckling (195:-) kommer de aldrig kunna ta bort från menyn. Mör som man kräver av en sån här rätt och samtidigt så perfekt kryddad. Kärlek vid första ögonkastet! Pommes (70:-) var trivsamt kryddade men mitt förslag är att skippa dem och istället lägga pengarna på en till mellanrätt.
