Ciao Ciao Due — Restaurant in Stockholm

Caos pizza. I ordered for two and got disappointed through and through.

Frutti di mare, barely any mare and served with the shells still on. Water and boiling warm, they splash water all over the table.

Pizza quattro is really how you can tell the integrity of the chef... This man put unpitted olives (swallowed one whole, nice) and more shelled mussels IN THE MIDDLE OF THE PIZZA. One half was all ham, which was all watery and fishy tasting for the watered mussels.

It's such a shame too because you can tell that they have all the tools necessary to provide quality food. Good ingredients and an even better oven - but with execution like this it should be half priced. This is not a luxury experience, it just looks and costs like one.

Food is well tasting and well made. Nothing too special though. There are better italian places and they had some stuff on the menu which was probably not fully Italian, more of a fusion. No vegan options. But they do have vegetarian options. The atmosphere is allright. Too cramped for a large group, bathroom could be better cleaned. My issue was with the wait staff. Sure, they have a gimmick on being the "iconic italians" and i get that. But they went too overboard and caused me some embarrassment in front of my classfellows on the night we were there to celebrate our graduation. I dont know if its because the guy was drunk (which is bad) or just how he is normally (which is worse). I wouldn't go...

Trevligt bemötande vid ankomst, trevlig servitör och snabb service. Sedan händer något som jag aldrig varit med om tidigare; när vi ätit upp maten ringer min dotter och har en fråga. Medans jag pratar med henne kommer en äldre man och lägger fram notan och och tar min frus ännu inte tömda vinglas och går iväg. Efter att jag avslutat telefonsamtalet kommer mannen tillbaka och tar tag i notan och konstaterar att där inte finns någon betalning varpå han frågar om jag inte har något kort. Jag påtalar då att vi fortfarande funderar på att ta en kopp kaffe vilket leder till en stor suck och kommentaren att han då måste räkna om notan. Notera att vi inte beställt in notan och att restaurangen är halvtom och kl är 19 på kvällen. Jag säger då att vi inte skall besvära honom och att jag gärna betalar omgående. Då kommer vår servitör och frågar om vi vill se på desserterna och jag kan bara svara att vi redan betalat och blivit utschasade från restaurangen. Tråkigt för oss att inte kunna äta i lugn och ro och tillgodogöra oss det de kan erbjuda - tråkigt för restaurangen som förlorade intäkter nu och i framtiden. Vi kommer sannolikt aldrig gå tillbaka igen! De får två stjärnor för allt var bra fram till...
