Sushishopen - Hötorget — Restaurant in Stockholm

A weak 4 due to some minor flaws. The locale is charming but small with perhaps no more than seven seats, as the name implies this is mainly for take out. The sushi is good, clearly above average for the area. The sashimi however is lacking. The clams were simply sliced and divided in two thus making two clams into four pieces, normally not an issue but when the menu states 14 pieces one does feel a bit cheated. But to serve surimi as sashimi is an inexcusable offense. Surimi is a "fish product" and does not belong on sushi and definitely not in a sashimi dish. Furthermore, sashimi is not usually served in a bowl of sallad, but in this case it was probably in order to hide the fact that it is painfully little sashimi served for 140 kr.

Service is a bit slow, which is surprising considering how few...

My first time here, had high expectations - and they were met! Their menu is pretty limited (which is good), and the sushi is really great! Ordered the 8-pieces, the tempura deluxe roll and the fried tuna roll. All of them were extremely tasty and looked mouthwatering. The prices are reasonable and the staff is helpful...

The sushi was really good, one of the best sushi I’ve ever eat. We especially like the Spicy Fried Tuna Rolls. The prices are also reasonable, staff is good and friendly. Will definetly visit Sushishopen again in my short trip to Stockholm.
