Prime Burgers & Smokehouse — Restaurant in Stockholm

Back two weeks later and the corn bread is now somewhat better, but still not corn bread. Meat is still good, sides the same.

Ordered the prime smoke tray. Brisket - soft and tender with a nice smoke ring and bark, plenty of flavour. Pork belly - again soft and tender, but could've done with some bark for a bit more flavour. Smoked sausage, good flavour, not sure if the cheese added anything. Coleslaw and creamy corn dip, both good. The not so good, the refried beans where dry and bland and the cornbread was like someone had forgotten a piece out toast out over night and then thrown it in the microwave to try and revive it. The cornbread also had the wrong texture and wasn't like any cornbread I've ever had. The side of sweet potato fries were crispy. At least the waitress took one of our drinks off our order due to the cornbread being stale, so big plus there. Overall a good BBQ place and we'll be back to try more things, as we wanted to play it safe after not so good experience with other BBQ places...

Possibly the worst service in Stockholm, and that's saying something... We went on an empty sunday evening, there were only two other tables of people there. After sitting down we had to wait 15 mins before anyone came to our table (there were two wait-staff "working"). I had made eye-contact and tried to get their attention several times. When they finally came over we got to order and had to wait over 20 mins for our food, which in a busy joint would be ok, but the food was rather cold and disappointing. I had the veggie pattie and it had no texture whatsoever, it was like it had been eaten once already. When we wanted to leave we put our coats on and it took another five minutes of the staff doing nothing and not coming over to us at all. We complained about the food and the the waitress said "I wish you would have told me" which would have been impossible since she at no point came back to our table. She then charged us full extortionate price for our meal. Easy to say we will not...

First time i tried prime burger was in their original store in Birger Jarlsgatan 101 a while back. Back then i had really enjoyed the food and service.

Sadly, this new joint did not offer anything close to that experience. I went on a friday during lunch time and we got a table quite fast. The staff was helpfull but the food was terrible and overpriced. I understand that in some cases any establishment has to compromise on quality while serving food during lunch rush-hour, but for how, what i was served, tasted, charging 170kr for a burger, fries and coke is not acceptable.

I have tried every burger place in stockholm and from my first experience had ranked them pretty high, but this time the food had no taste. Thats goes for the fries and burger. If i ever want a burger during lunch id rather get one from the burger truck across the street or head...
