Being Irish, I may not know much about proper Swedish food, but what I do know is when food tastes good. And I can honestly say that you won't find better than the Swedish meatballs with potatoes and lingonberry sauce that Restaurang Hubertus serves. It came hot and well plated, the potatoes were gorgeous, and the meatball sauce will be something I hope to replicate the taste of for many years. If you are looking for a decently affordable, clean, and comfortable restaurant to eat in during your visit to Stockholm, try here. My only comments are that the service could be improved upon, as we were left alone after we finished our meals, without being asked if we wanted dessert or more drinks, however this may be down to the crowd that was seated at the...

I cannot compliment this place enough! I stumbled upon it by chance while walking around Stockholm, and it turned out to be the perfect spot for lunch. The place was buzzing with locals, and everything was in Swedish, but the incredibly hospitable staff guided me through the menu with warmth and patience.

You order an entrée, and then all the sides are "as much as you can eat." This was the last restaurant on my trip, and I couldn’t have asked for a better farewell: great food and even greater staff. A special shoutout to the older gentleman working there—he was the kindest. Thank you :)

Oh. My. God. You HAVE TO try this restaurant when you visit Stockholm. We already recommended for our friends. Great space! Look at these dishes, aren't they amazing? Me and my friends were looking for Swedish meatballs, we chose another restaurant but they only served that for dinner so we left. When we arrived here, Hubertus did not serve meatballs for lunch either but the kind cook said he would make it special for us. And they were better than I expected!
