Thai Bambu — Restaurant in Stockholm

We felt sick both os us after the meal, also the atmosphere wasn't very pleasant, guests going out to smoke and coming in, not many people eating, just drinking beer. The same person serving the dishes was having her meal in a yoghurt pot in front of us. Tables crammed in a very small space. Didnt like the experience. Unlikely we will be coming back.The dining experience left both of us feeling unwell. Unfortunately, the atmosphere was not pleasant, as many guests were frequently leaving to smoke and then returning inside. The majority of the guests were simply drinking beer, with very few actually consuming any food. Cases of beer on the floor in a already very small place. The individual serving the dishes was even eating her meal out of a yogurt pot in front of us, which was quite unappetizing. Additionally, the tables were crammed into a very small space, which made for an uncomfortable and unsatisfying...

My go-to Thai dish is Red Curry. A good one is when a mouthful of rice and curry together yield a slightly sweet taste that neither has alone, theirs passed the test and I really enjoyed it. I can't speak to authenticity, it's been 25 years since I've been to Thailand, I don't remember zucchini, it did not detract from the dish.

As for atmosphere, it was fine and noisy like Bangkok on the patio. There was a rather noisy group of gents of a certain age there that I got the impression from the volume and nature of their conversations are regulars (some lady that came out to greet them had a voice of volume and frequency that would cut diamonds!) 4 stars my ears are still ringing.

Finally, a warning, the curry was served at a temperature that can only be achieved with a microwave or a nuclear reactor. I do not know how it was not instantly vaporized. Just be a little cautious with the...

Food quality 4 stars because they serve dishes hard to be found in Stockholm, service 5 stars, price 3 stars, environment 1 star. I had Thai styled duck noodle soup here and it is not so easy to get this dish in other Thai places in Stockholm.
