The bar itself is probably fine for most people, I'm handing out a 2 star mostly because of the way the bar cash register assumed tip from 5 % and upwards. There was a hard-to-find, partially obscured button that said no tip at the bottom, deviating from the look of the more clickable ones. You had to select one to be able to pay.

For the service of pouring me an overpriced beer from tap, while ignoring me and chatting with a colleague, the only reasonable button is "none". At least that one should be equally prominent, and default.

My husband and I had our wedding reception here and it was perfect. We frequent The Liffey as normal patrons and have always been thrilled by the service but our reception was a step above. They were so helpful with everything from the time we booked until the end of the night (even the following days when we had a couple questions). Nick especially made everything wonderful and it was great to have him help with our questions and making sure the night went smoothly.
