Tourist trap! The food was good. The place is small but is nice. However, the customer service was disappointing.
Last week, there was a guy outside, calling people to come inside and he was very nice… I had no much strength to search for a place so I went inside with my friend and he placed me in a table next to the stairs and in the middle of way. Probably because was the only clean table.
I asked the designated waiter if I could change tables and he told me to choose a place after he finish cleaning. And that was the point where my bad experience started: the waiter sounded rude and he looked at me as if he was there doing favors for the customers. Ok, I ignored the bad attitude and moved on because I was hungry, but after 30min that I was sitting there I had to call someone to bring at least the menu! Half an hour waiting for the menu!
The waiter seemed like as if he was running away from me, he couldn’t even look at me. Then he brought the menu, water and left before I could even ask anything. I chose my food but I had to wait more than 20min to see the waiter again. I called him to order the food and he ran away. The guy that was outside came to check my table a few minutes later and I told him that after one hour I was still waiting to ASK for my food. There was a couple next to us that came later and was already having the main course.
I ordered and 14min later he brought me someone’s else food. 25min later the rude waiter brought the right food and apologized because he thought that me and my friend were going to have the buffet (how could he tell???). Almost 1:30h to get just two plates of lasagna. FINALLY, another waiter came and apologized for the inconvenience, and he was very friendly and he made the experience a little better. When I asked for the check, the rude waiter came asking how much % that I wanted to give tip. THE DUDE ASKED FOR A TIP???? REALLY??? Unfortunately, the experience was ruined by poor...
Read moreWe visited without a reservation because we were hoping for the buffet menu, but upon arrival, they informed us that we need a reservation. We quickly made an online reservation on their website, which was really easy and got the table in 40 min. You get 2 hours per table, and once we were seated, they offered us the choice between the buffet or à la carte. Since the buffet queue was already long, we decided to go with à la carte, and we definitely didn’t regret it!
The food was absolutely delicious. Having grown up with Italian cuisine, I can say it tasted just like home! We started with an antipasti platter, which was recommended by a very polite waiter, whose service was outstanding. Unfortunately, we didn’t catch his name, but he seemed Swedish, young, and had curly blonde hair. Excellent service – 5/5.
For our main course, we had the Tagliata di Entrecôte and Fettuccine Tartufo, and again, we were not disappointed. Both dishes were incredibly tasty and creamy, with the meat cooked to perfection.
The atmosphere and the restaurant setting really added to the experience, making it all the more enjoyable. While the restaurant itself isn't overly pricey, I’d note that alcohol in Sweden tends to be expensive. We paid as much for two glasses of wine as we did for one dish, but that’s typical for the region. This doesn’t reflect the restaurant’s pricing, which was consistent with other places.
I highly recommend you give it a try. We will definitely be back to experience the variety of the buffet menu, probably during the week when it’s...
Read morethe food was really good, but the service and atmosphere are bad. _The buffet is very small where 4 pizzas have to be shared with the whole floor, everytime i would go to check i find all the pizzas gone empty + having very small space to walk through and a lot of people to bump with . _The price on the website is 145 + 10kr for tiramisu and coffee while instead its 155 and 35kr for each tiramisu picked same with coffee and a creme brulee that doesnt exist.
When we entered we waited then were seated and they just left without saying a word or where the buffet is or saying if we need to pay or asking if we are there for buffet or to just order normally so we just got up and went to look for food. the plate that you fill is actually a small plate that can barely fit 3 small slices of pizza that you probably can't find unless if u wait next to the buffet standing in the middle of the way until a server brings new pizza, and it feels awkward to even pick 3 slices because if me and my girl do that then a whole pizza choice is gone while the line is constantly full, if there is 3 people in front of you then you can expect that there will be nothing left and will have to go back to sit or keep standing there. at first I went back and forth to sit 4 times before we decided to stand next to the buffet until a pizza come...
