The food was ok, no where near the standard I remember when I last visited before the pandemic, they were out of stock of most of the drinks too. But Vapiano still does one of my favourite Carbonara in Stockholm.

There is no need for a service rating because they've decided to go the route of the QR code ordering system. A system that has never been implemented in a smooth and successful way. It's purely a management decision to cut down on costs.

This is not a slight on that particular location or the people working there. They are probably lovely people but you'd never know because the management have taken away any reason to ever interact with them any more.

The whole chain has gone from a gastro experience to just another QR code restaurant.

Until I witness this system implemented without issues, I will always recommend people to avoid any place using one. They do not work well. They rely on taking your personal information, they are not suitable for group sittings and they are entirely impersonal. Why not just replace the floor staff with robots that bring you the food you ordered though the clunky webapp and change your name to Crapiano.

Oh and take away the predatory "service tip" option when ordering your QR code food. Nobody is going to tip someone for carrying a plate from the kitchen to the table without uttering a single word, let alone before the food has...

A sad drop in quality over the years. The food is still good for the price, although it varies based on who cooks it.

What's sad is the evident lack of interest of the staff: they appear to be overworked, tired and generally don't seem to care much about the quality of the service. This is partially understandable, now they have been demoted to pure servers since the ordering and payment is all done via the qr code process, so popular as of lately.

It's in the little things, especially concerning hygiene: one of us dropped a knife by mistake and the waiter picked it up from the floor and put it back on the table, as if it was normal. This same guy completely forgot to come back and help us order a drink, despite several attempts. The place was mostly empty by the way. Then one of the other waiters went to help the pizza cook and started preparing pizzas, directly after serving people. No washing of hands.

So yeah, please, work on this... The place is still nice and welcoming, the food is really not that bad and the price is ok. There's potential for...

We used to visit this location as it was affordable and super easy with kids. After tonight’s experience we will question going back. They have changed their set up so you now order from the table with the QR code which is fine, but it seems they cannot keep up and don’t have enough staff to support this change as we waited 25 minutes for food and went up to enquire only to find our food had been sitting out ready. The kids menu used to be 19kr which is great when you have a toddler who takes a few bites- this has now increased to 49kr which is still more affordable than most places but how can they justify more than doubling their prices over night. I asked for a take out box and had to go remind the server as he forgot. The highchairs also have no belts which is a major safety concern with an active toddler especially with the high tables. Overall what used to be an affordable, relaxed place to take the kids left us feeling stressed and...

Food: overall every single item was perfect. I had the nocerella olives, the burrata caprese, the all'arabbiata with shrimp, mushroom risotto, and the margarita pizza. Everything was literally exactly as advertised. Portions were a perfect size. The price was great for the quality. Everything was good. I'd be a regular here for their pasta. Service: this is just an average bc there isn't much service so to speak. You order food from QR codes on the table. When it is ready they bring it out. Nothing special. Since they don't really tip here, there isn't really a lot to expect. I rated it average bc there just isn't a lot to rate. I interacted maybe twice with the staff. So it isn't a bad rating, just average. Atmosphere: very nice. Clean. Great patio. Great view. Lots of space. Overall a fun place to eat.

Good fresh pasta cooked right in front of you by the chef. How would you like your ox bit's cooked asks the chef? Garlic? Chilly? Bit of both maybe? Ohhh this was great my very own personal chef. This is the difference between other Italian restaurants that I have been to and Vapiano's. And I have to say the end result is great. Like many other popular restaurants in Stockholm you should pick your time's to visit as it can be very busy. It's not the cheapest Italian restaurant in town but then again it's an experience and something just a little bit different from the norm. The food and service was great. Little minus because we had to ask for bread instead of being offered bread which we got last time we visited.
