Small menu but their food is fresh? Nope, that’s not what I experienced. Went there as a group of 4 and 3 of us ordered the meatballs with mashed potatoes. When they arrived at our table the meatballs were FROZEN in the middle. I’m not saying they were cold, they were frozen rock hard in the middle. They charge 225 crowns (around 22€) for this dish? We talked to the waiter, he apologised and it took about 30 minutes until we got our second round of the same dish, while my other friend was munching on her salmon alone. This time the meatballs were not frozen but had the consistency of rubber. The mashed potatoes looked and tasted like they’re made out of powder or watered down to the absolut maximum. It’s just a yellow slime. Unacceptable for 225 crowns per plate in my opinion.

My other friend who had the salmon said it was good. Still a very disappointing experience. The waiter was nice about it though, he apologised to my friend and in the end we only paid for the 3 glasses of white wine that we had.

3 out of 4 people went home hungry. I don’t know is this was a particularly stressful Wednesday or if their usual cook was on vacation or something, but my experience was awful and even though we didn’t end up paying for the dishes, I would not recommend going to...

We stopped by twice during our trip to Stockholm for pre-dinner drinks, and both visits were fantastic! Each time, we sat at the bar and had a great experience.

One of the highlights was their impressive bourbon selection—plenty of options at reasonable prices, which was definitely a plus! The bartenders were friendly, welcoming, and really knew their craft. We enjoyed chatting with them and appreciated the great service.

I wish I could remember his name, but one bartender with long blonde hair stood out—he made incredible cocktails and was super knowledgeable. As someone who doesn’t drink, I asked for a mocktail recommendation, and he absolutely delivered with a delicious and well-balanced option!

Overall, a great spot with fantastic drinks, great service, and a laid-back vibe. We’d definitely return on our next visit...

Ardbeg Embassy is one of the best restaurants in Sweden; it has the widest whiskey selection in Scandinavia. The atmosphere is superior, the food is delicious, and the drinks are just scrumptious. The owners are a passionate, caring, and perfectionist family; they always ensure warm hospitality. After passing by for a special Ardbeg whiskey-based dessert, I couldn't resist trying the whiskey-tasting experience and, after that, the mouthwatering food selections. I would recommend the Meat tray (for two) that includes a Swedish Filet of beef, Deer Sirloin, and Reindeer filet. I would recommend as well the Ardbeg dessert, a whiskey-laced mocha chocolate ice cream served with caramel toffee creme roasted pistachio and almonds. And finally, the Ardbeg WhiskeyBricka is a...

A number of years ago we stumbled across the Ardbeg Embassy and had such a good experience we decided to join them again for an early dinner. Our meals were tastefully prepared and decently sized - we've always been quite satisfied with everything we've ordered. While the namesake is all about whiskey, they also have a nice assortment of beers as well. After our meal we decided to sample some of their whiskeys, including one drawn directly from the cask / barrel. (I preferred what they had in the barrel a few years ago.) Our waiter was very helpful in explaining the offerings - we were fortunate that we were there before it got too busy and he was able to spend more than the expected amount of time attending to us. We'll surely be back.

The venue was nice and classy for the dining area. The bar has a huge selection with local craft beers and a wide selection. Bartenders and general service was welcome and authentic. We had the game meatballs for mains and to be completely honest, they were uniformly a tad dry and dense rather than soft and fluffy as we’ve been used to elsewhere (when they were beef). Perhaps it’s the fact that they are game meat, which we wanted to try. Glad we did but nothing to call home about and not rushing to get seconds on. 5 meatballs came out per main and thought we’d get less but they were dense and we we full before the last! Less than ~€25 per main so moderately priced for the area especially. Beers were extremely good though!
