I love Vete-katten. However, the service at Götgatan is below the high standard one is used to from their original patisserie located at Kungsgatan.
Usually the staff working here, behind the counter, seem to be less customer oriented. I have been here at least seven times as it is so close to where I live. I usually see that the staff continuing to chat among themselves, making a customer wait for their attention to give an order. I realized that there are more things that I get disturbed here, so it is very likely that I will stop going there.

The youngish, 20 something, woman was really rude and dismissive to me and the customer ahead of me. I was shocked. Why does she work in a customer service job? I had a sandwich which came out of the fridge and was already stale. The sitting area was dirty and not attended to. Latte and baked goods were quite good. I think I was expecting a bigger variety than cinnamon buns and other traditional Swedish fika, but there was definitely something new to try. We had a chocolate cake with honey and pear (Xanté Dôr), it was very very good. We also had a bun with walnuts (I think), it was also great.
