December 2022: Still awesome and personal and i don't really know what to say.

Update March 2023: They stopped being open for lunch at end of pandemic, unfortunately. Still awesome though and considering how expensive all other places have become, despite increasing prices it's actually more comparably priced and still great food and selection.

Update October 2023: Late lunch. Still has Uppsala's absolutely best fish & chips.

Update August 2024: Had some really good chicken & bacon club sandwich. It was a tad on the dry spectrum but i have had multipe stops since last update and the average is still 5/5. Nice staff as usual. Good times. Prices have gone up but i don't blame the venue.

Me and a some friends & family came here to enjoy some St. Patricks Day drinks, we are Irish people living in Uppsala and I had heard it was a great bar and we also wanted to support a fellow irishman. On entering the bar we were greeted by the owner who scowled at us, I proceeded to say “hey, we are Irish , happy paddys days” he was extremely rude, clearly didnt want us there. I approached him and asked why he had been rude to us, he got EXTREMEMLY aggressive , called me a racist due to the fact that i had announced on entering that we were real irish people???!!!!!! And then told us to leave. I have NEVER in my life experienced anything so bizarre in my life, we were looking forward to some friendly irish faces on our national day and instead we were met with agression and insults. Went there to watch the Euro Soccer Cup. Drinks were decent. Unfortunately tho i have to point out the waiter with long dark hair probably like 40-50 years old. Looked like a redskin. This guy was just next Level unfriendly and impolite. He was clearly pissed because his team lost the game and let everything out on us. Very unprofessional. In the End he even wanted to start a serious physical fight with us and insulted us badly. He also insulted the woman at our table, was very sexist and even tried touching them. To be honest i wont go there again wouldn’t recommend it to anyone especially not to woman. The owner should really reconsider his personal decision and maybe get rid of this unprofessional guy.
