Great night out. Friendly staff who don't mind an English speaking customer. Got chatting to some of the locals and ended up staying all night. They have a smoking room at the back and a great selection of drinks and cocktails. The owner of the rock bar apparently aims to get a hardcore metal head to drink a colourful decorated cocktail 🍸!

Best Tablesoccer table in town. For 1.- there are more balls than at other places, where you pay 2.- for getting balls. Sonce the Barkeeper likes to play by himself, the table is always clean and maintained properly (the bars glide smoothely, instead of the usual sticky ones ones in other bars.

Dışardan kapalı bir kutuyu andıran bu binada böylesine bir mekanın olabileceğini tahmin etmek imkansız. Öncelikle içecekler konusunda memnun kalacağınızı garanti edebilirim. Kendilerine özgü kokteyl çeşitleri de yapıyorlar. Ama mekanın asıl önemli yanı atmosferi tamamlayan müzikleridir bence. Metal rock müzik sevenler için tam bir hazine niteliğinde. Uğramanızı tavsiye ederim.

Irrsinn Bar – Ein Abend voller Lacher, Shots & ehrlicher Gastfreundschaft Letzten Sommer mit zwei Freunden in der Irrsinn Bar gelandet – und was für ein urkomischer, ungezwungener Abend! Hier die Highlights:

🦷 Das legendäre Kroki-Spiel: Wer kennt es nicht? Dieses fiese Krokodil, bei dem man abwechselnd Zähne runterdrückt – bis es SNAP! macht und alle schreien. Wir haben uns wie Kinder amüsiert (und vielleicht ein bisschen zu laut gelacht…). Einfach perfekt, um die Stimmung aufzulockern!

🍹 Barkeeper mit Profi-Wissen & Herz: Der Mix aus lockerer Art und ernsthafter Shot-Expertise hat uns überzeugt. Egal ob klassisch oder kreativ – seine Empfehlungen waren top. Und wir? Durften uns durchprobieren – natürlich mit der nötigen Portion Humor.

💰 Brieftasche vergessen? Kein Problem! Klassiker: Mein Kumpel lässt seine Brieftasche einfach liegen. Aber statt Drama gab’s eine ehrliche Rückgabe – der Barkeeper hatte sie sofort bemerkt und sicher verwahrt. Solche Leute machen Basel gemütlich!

Fazit: Die Irrsinn Bar ist kein Hochglanz-Lokal, sondern genau das, was eine gute Kneipe ausmacht: Unkompliziert, lustig und mit echten Machern hinter der Theke. Wer hier nicht wenigstens ein Mal lacht, hat was falsch gemacht.

👉 Geheimtipp: Kroki-Spiel + Shots kombinieren – aber Vorsicht, wer verliert, zahlt die nächste Runde! 😉

A bar on two levels. The interior could best be described as grunge/gothic/ death metal. A predominantly young crowd with the unofficial dress code of "as much black clothing as possible". Nice friendly and attentive staff but the prices are unfortunately a bit too steep. A good selection of beers and some interesting ( but...
