Hirscheneck — Restaurant in Basel

If you don't mind the basics and a place where everyone is welcome, this is the place for you! I can go and hang out all afternoon alone without being hassled by anyone and I don't have to keep ordering to keep my table. The food is good, mainly vegetarian or vegan and they now have great ice cream too. If you walk in and don't like it, feel free to walk out again... no one will bat an eyelid. My favorite alternative place to go for a coffee or a well...

Got into Hirscheneck restaurant looking for a place in the neighborhood of the Hotel Wettstein. In fact I was looking for a chicken restaurant that Google set as opened, but it wasn't... Anyway the service is right, but I couldn't get the chicken I was looking for as they are veggies (!) Got a spaghetti pomodoro...

Good food, good idea. The food is excellent, really enjoy the vegan food here. The way the restaurant operates, making quality food available for everyone independant of financial means is something which should be supported in a much wider scale, glad initiatives like these exist to demonstrate you can...
