I'll start with the fact that my partner and I are utterly useless with our languages since we don't speak any of the 4 potential languages to communicate with them even though we tried our best. So the lady just tried to explain that there would be chicken with rice, plantain or potatoes and a salad - we kind of caught that with the little Spanish we knew and since we hadn't eaten all day just kept agreeing with "si". We tried asking for fish but I'm not even sure what the response was 😅 our fault entirely I know. Since we weren't given a menu we just ran with it. The fried chicken we had was good, a little dry but well seasoned. The side salad was the best dressing I've ever had in my life, I'd only go back just for the salad. Is recommend going for the plantain over the chips as they were so good but the chips were yummy too. Hospitality was lovely, they really tried their best to cater to us despite the language barrier, always asking if everything was good/ okay. This is a very unassuming restaurant that serves authentic Dominican food. We went on a chilli and wet day and had a sancocho and other typical food that not only was very tasty and good, but the meat was also slow cooked for the rice and meat we had. We also were offered a typical shot after our meal called "Mamajuana" which is a rum, honey, coffee and cinnamon liquor that is made on premises and was fantastic. La atención nada amable la verdad, fuimos en dos ocasiones para darnos la oportunidad y creer que talvez podría ser de ese solo día pero fue lo mismo, su atención nada acertada. Pedimos un plato y aparte que le ha sumado una barbaridad ( nosotros sin problema pagamos) nos sirvieron cosas que no estaban dentro de la carta de ese plato que pedimos y nos dieron otra cosa a cambio de eso que nisiquiera nos preguntaron. La verdad que no vamos a volver porque en las dos ocasiones no nos sentimos con una atención adecuada ni el servicio correcto.
