It was AMAZING: food, staff, and atmosphere

Food: This is definitely high-level fine dining that goes far beyond the typical vegetarian options. My boyfriend, who is vegetarian, has often been disappointed by fine-dining restaurants where the vegetarian menu feels like a regular one with the main ingredient removed—and the portions are usually too small for him. But here, he felt fully satisfied with excellent, well-balanced dishes. We could truly enjoy the creativity and variety of flavors the chefs bring to the table. Personally, I loved how they played with aromas, making the experience as enjoyable through the nose as it was on the palate.

Staff: The staff were incredibly friendly, and their hospitality was exceptional. We felt taken care of seamlessly—our water glasses were always filled without us noticing, and they explained each dish in great detail with care and enthusiasm.

Atmosphere: High-casual. Comfortable and relaxed yet elegant and neat at the same time.

This is the first Michelin-starred restaurant where we genuinely felt, “We want...

It is a fantastic experience. The tasting menu was fun, interesting and above all, unusual. That the dishes are vegetarian, is almost an irrelevance. Every dish was simply delicious. A lovely mixture of flavours, textures and even temperatures; I’m not normally a fan of sorbets, but here it was perfection. I would love to come again in a different season. I suspect spring, autumn and winter would be equally intriguing. They have some really delightful non-alcoholic drinks. I’m sure the wine list is excellent, but they had a range of lemonades and floral infusions which were just so different to what I normally drink. I’d also like to highlight how good the service was. Friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. They also managed to time everything so that we could leave in time for a prior engagement, without making it feel rushed. Too many amazing dishes to describe fully, but there are some absolute knockouts. My favourite moment? Watching my daughter trying to workout how she could drink the sauce from the bottom of the bowl, while maintaining some...

During my recent visit to Zoe, I found the staff to be exceedingly friendly and hospitable. The professional and attentive service was commendable.

The ambiance of the restaurant was also noteworthy, with tasteful and chic decor, creating a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.

However, there were some shortcomings during my visit. For instance, I was not pleased to find that the Amuse bouche and bread were considered individual courses on the menu, which seemed inappropriate and ultimately detracted from the overall dining experience.

When it comes to the menu and food, I must admit that I was somewhat underwhelmed. Although the food was well-prepared, the overall menu lacked originality and creativity. It appeared to be overly simple and almost homestyle cooking.

The only innovative aspect on the menu was a beetroot dessert, which unfortunately did not succeed in terms of taste or texture. This was unfortunate as it was the only truly inventive dish, and it turned out to be a...

Our group was really excited to try this Michelin starred vegetarian restaurant in August and the food was absolutely amazing but a few things just ruined the overall experience for us. First, the tasting menu took almost 5 hours to complete through. Second, the server was definitely new and could not tell us much about either the food or the wine pairing we spent an extra $100CHF for. The server also kept dropping items not only at our table but at other tables around us. Third, we were seated outside on the road and ruined the atmosphere. It wouldn’t have been so bad but it started to rain towards the end and we still had two remaining courses to go through. We had to run to the train station to make the last one out.
