Boréal Coffee Shop — Restaurant in Geneva

This place used to be so good - not 🚫 sure what happened! The coffee ☕ drinks are still on point but the muffins and pastries that I had did not have any flavor so I can't recommend eating them. It's one of the few places where you can nurse a coffee ☕ drink for hours while working on your laptop. There is also a nice terrace at both entrances, though the terrace in the back has a lot more seating. It's COVID-19 safe with clients asked to show proof 🧾 of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test and workers wear masks. Clients also wore masks when not eating or drinking.

The only other negatives I can think of besides the lackluster food are the fact that it can be really difficult to find seating because it's normally crowded at all times of the day and there aren't many electrical outlets so you can't work here for too long if you need to charge...

Phenomenal coffee shop! I saw this place on a YouTube video before I arrived in Geneva, and put it first on my list to visit. It was wonderful beyond my expectations! Staff were amazingly friendly and as busy as they were, they all were warm and accommodating. English spoken. The place was nearly full of lots of young, beautiful people working and socializing. Lots of plugs for laptops/phones. Toilet with locking door is in the back and downstairs. Free Wi-Fi; the password is on the cash register, and in other locations throughout the cafe. Today was the 4th tine that I had taken a chaï latte at boreal and the 4th time that I am so disappointed with it. They have no idea how to prepare a chaï latte, they don't infuse it, my latte was ready in less than a minute and the taste was of just milk...as a customer I prefer quality! especially since I paid 6.5chf for it.
