Excellent food and wine menu, plus friendly service, at prices that are reasonable by Geneva standards. I really like the ambiance, especially in the back; this is a trendy (but not over-the-top) kind of place. I've never gone wrong with the specials, but I also especially recommend the Burrata cheese starter and the Zenato Valpolicella Ripasso wine (probably the best wine I've ever had for the money). This is a brand-new restaurant - I believe it opened in the last couple of month of 2014 - and it is quite obvious that the owners, young friendly italians who are always around to greet and chat, are going above and beyond to try to please their guests. This kind of attitude is rare in Geneva, which is partly why (as a local) this is one of the restaurants I find myself going back to, again and again. The icing on the cake is the couple of overpriced-but-lively hipster bars half...
Read moreLed Zeppelin sing about "a lady who's sure all that glitters is gold", and guess what? Unfortunately it's not true! When I saw the pizza I had good expectations, but I was very disappointed after the first bite: it was burned, in the center it was so thin and wet that it was hard to eat, plus its consistency wasn't pleasant, and the ingredients didn't match the name of the pizza (i.e. margherita should not have cherry tomatoes!). The most disappointing part was the Tiramisù! I'm a Tiramisù lover, and what I got at Kytaly was not even remotely identifiable as a Tiramisù. The only comment I have is don't order it, because it's insanely expensive and it's not a Tiramisù. The service was very good: the waiters were attentive and could speak several different languages. The atmosphere is cozy, but it...
Read moreI just came to the restaurant after reading so many great reviews. I went to try their Truffle Pizza that someone suggested in the reviews. Unfortunately, the waiter informs me not only the Truffle pizza is not part of the menu anymore but they cannot offer anything else but pizza. I went with the family to have a nice dinner with appetizers, side dishes & main course and they failed to tell me when I reserved a table that they only have pizza’s for the next 16 days since the kitchen was closed. I was really disappointed that I drove 30 minutes only to know that the only thing they’ll offer is just pizza & nothing else not even a salad. I wish they at least informed me on the phone before going...
