Alhambra — Local services in Geneva

This is one of the great concert halls in Geneva, entirely renovated a few years ago. They usually have great artists there both local and international, for a fair price. Acoustic and setup are ok, not necessarily the best (I've yet to hear a concert with great sound there tbh), but that's what happens when you try to make a concert hall as a multiple function room (my opinion).

So, my only objection is that since it's all new, it can feel a little cold and awkward. And also you can't drink in the venue, only at the bar, that really doesn't encourage partying and crazy night out... Plus, the bar feels more like a cafeteria, and not a very sexy one.

So, all in all, good for music, but head upstairs for drinks to the Alhambar (you might need to go around the corner and up the stairs...

We are devoted fans of Oesch's die Dritten, having our Sunday coffee, on their music, on YouTube. It was one of our dreams, to meet them. Thus, with the occassion of my wife's Birthday, I organized everything, securing tickets long time before, from September 2024. Finally, the dream comes true on Sunday, 13.04.2025, at Alhambra, in Geneva. The show exceded all our expectation. We thank them for this memorable day. We will never forget my wife's 60 years Birthday.
