Boréal Coffee Shop — Restaurant in Geneva

I ordered a medium oat milk latte and I was looking forward to it as I was here for holiday. I also saw a review saying this was the place they had the best coffee in a while so I was excited 😊

The disappointment... ☕️ 🥲 Coffee was mediocre, quite sour for the house blend at least because the single origin was not available. It was not tasty or even drinkable, not sure about the oat milk either...worst £5.71 coffee I have had. I did not even finish it and just left. Yes, it was that bad...🫠

The facilities were not great either, the toilet button was half usable, there was no hand wash and no table service. I would not recommend. Also the coffee was served in a water glass so no esthetics. 😒

Boréal Coffee Shop is a great little coffee shop located right next to the exit of the Geneva train station. It's a great place to stop for a coffee or a snack before or after your train journey.

The shop is small but cozy, with a few tables inside and a few outside. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the coffee is excellent. I had a mint tea and a cinnamon roll, and both were delicious. The cinnamon roll was so good that I ate it so fast I forgot to take a picture!

The prices are reasonable, and the shop is open from early in the morning until late at night, so it's a great place to stop for a quick bite or a coffee at any...

So I used to go to this coffee shop quite often, but honestly I don't think it any better starbacks down the street by the ambiance. Though the coffee, tea and matcha is better quality (so far). It is pricey and for specialty coffee there are many other high quality shops that are cheaper. Another aspect is service. Baristas that I saw them for more than a year now don't really look happy, sometimes they are even passively mean. Don't judge them though, usually that's mean that the company does not provide the good conditions for workers in my humble opinion.
