L'Echalotte — Restaurant in Geneva

Our group of 20 dined here for dinner, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. The restaurant staff did a wonderful job accommodating our large party, making us feel welcome and well taken care of. The menu offers traditional French bistro dishes with some Swiss specialties, all of which were delicious. The food arrived hot and was presented simply yet elegantly. The wine list is impressive, featuring selections from some exceptional producers, which paired perfectly with our meal. Desserts were equally delightful, rounding off an excellent dining experience. Carlos, our waiter, stood out for his outstanding service. He was friendly, attentive, and had a great sense of humor, ensuring that our evening was memorable. Additionally, the restaurant is located on "La Place des Rois," a beautifully remodeled area in Geneva. The calm surroundings, where children can play by the fountain, add to the charm of the dining experience. This restaurant is a true gem, and I highly recommend it. This is traditional restaurant with French cuisine and from October till November they serve a chasse. It is delicious! Melting in the mouth. Generously served portions. They serve a pumpkin soup which is one of the best among famous restaurants of Geneva. Their quail salad made on the base of fresh green salad and grapes with balsamic dressing is simply melting in the mouth. Everything is well salted, pepper and spiced. Excellente cuisine, de très loin supérieure à la moyenne que nous recommandons sans l'ombre d'une hésitation. Point négatif : le serveur qui nous a placés de manière autoritaire limite agressive côté bistrot, probablement parce que nous venions munis de la carte de rabais l'"Assiette genevoise". Dommage que notre expérience d'un si bon restaurant ait été plombée par la toute-puissance d'un serveur sélectif. Nous ne pouvons indiquer aucune évaluation sur l'ambiance vu que nous avons mangé seuls côté bistrot alors que le côté restaurant n' était qu' au tiers rempli !!!
